I'll be the first to say: if that mod really existed and 'the Assassin' really started to shriek at me, I'd uninstall and delete that thing in a heartbeat. Creepy.

The assassin is a metaphor for a body screaming at someone to abandon their obsession. In this case, Morrowind.

Try asking the modding community if any of them have heard of it. To be honest it sounds a bit like a myth, that such an intricate and complicated mod would go unnoticed. I mean, I'm pretty sure that half the stuff it does can't be done with the Construction Set. But if anyone actually looks out for it, be careful for viruses.

after reading this last night i went to the bathroom and swore i saw the assassin when the light was off....scared the crap out of me. Your imagination can do funny things haha

I have the mod in my possession, got it off a thread on *chan. PM me if you're interested in getting it.

Remember to run it in DOXbox, though, if you don't want your saves corrupted. I got as far as the room of portraits and the door, and didn't decide to go any further. I don't have enough time to leave Morrowind running all the time, and I don't think I have the nerves to hear the assassin scream.

Lol, yeah same. I was lying awake, worrying if the image had downloaded a similar virus on my computer.
