Criminal Origins - The RP thread

Webb leaned up from the bar, barely able to register what flannel jacket just did. He turned around and walked into the bar's kitchen, ready to heat up the burners and start making breakfast. The coffee pot in the corner of the room was brewing another batch, and the strong smell was great for waking web up. He retrieved a relatively clean mug from a cupboard and watched as the dark liquid rose to the rim. He held it under his nose before taking two large gulps of it. He set down a pan and tossed a knob of butter in. Staring out the doorway to flanel jacket, he saw he was smiling.

"[censored] tourists." he said. He began to turn the pan, making sure an even coat of butter filled the bottom.

"Can I get you anything now?" he asked impatiently. Hopefully he wouldn't be on the receiving end of the barstool.

"Holy [censored]!" Mel yelled as he watched the man knock the other guy unconsious. Mel had never liked fighting, and only kept his pistol on him in case of muggings, along with his wrench that he could use to hit people. He moved slightly away from the man, knowing that people like that were dangerous to mess around with.

Maybe I should head back to the garage. He thought.

((OOC: Shocking_Expression had to go offline for a few hours, and asked me to add some dialogue for him.))

"Nice one!" Alan said with a smirk, looking at the unconscious man laying on the ground.

"Yeah, that guys a pain in the ass, I figured I'd stop him from starting anymore pointless fights." Ryan said, as he finished off the last bit of his beer.

Ryan outstretched his arm and shooks hands with Matt.

"Nice to meet you Matt." Ryan said, looking Matt in the eyes.

"And you are?" Matt said, looking over to Alan.

"Names Alan." Alan said, taking another swig of vodka.

The man on the ground began to move, rolling a bit in the pieces of splintered wood that were strewn about the area. He began to stand up and looked at Ryan, who wasn't even facing him. Without even acknowledging the man that had just regained consciousness, Ryan picked his empty beer bottle up off of the counter, and swung it backwards, shattering it onto the man's face, sending him back into unconsciousness.

Ryan let out a grin.

OOC: Argh wait for me!

It was late, so Leo decided to visit the bar. He zoomed away from the police station and found his way to the pub.
There were shouts inside the bar, intigued Leo walked inside. A man was holding a bar stool and another man was on the ground, knocked out.
Jesus!. Leo took out his badge and ordered, "What the hell is going on?"

OOC: forgive the short post.

((OOC: I had already smacked the guy over the head with the beer bottle before you posted, so I'll just say you came in when that happened, and once again, it's not late in the rp, its only about 12:30-1:00 in the afternoon.))

Ryan turned around and saw an officer holding out a badge, he was looking at the man laying on the ground with shards of glass sticking out of his face.

"What the hell is going on?" The officer shouted.

"Not much." Ryan said, dropping the broken fragment of the beer bottle that he still had in his hand.

OOC: Forgive me Last Best Hope.

Leo noticed a man with broken shards of glass in his face. He was sickened, Leo had never seen anyone dead before. Blood poured down the dead mans face.
Leo, your job! Do you job! He took his gun out from his holster and ordered, "If you have ID I suggest you hand me it now." Leo was terrified, the offender looked confident and Leo looked scared.
the hand holding the gun was shaking, "Please... I don't want to kill you..."

Ryan looked down at the man, he had glass in his eyes, which were wide open, and blood was dripping out of his mouth.

"Oh, I killed him?"

Ryan reached into his jacket and pulled out his wallet, he held it out towards the officer and let it fall open, revealing his ID and badge.

"Ryan Winchester, FBI private investigator. I'd reccomend putting that gun down before you get hurt rookie." Ryan said, as he slid his wallet back inside his jacket.

His ID was expired, and he wasn't even supposed to have it, on the account that he left the force 3 years ago, but there was no way of telling that.

Relief flooded through Leo, he's in the FBI, thank god...
Leo put his gun back in the holster and apologised, "Forgive me sir. I'm sure there was a good reason for all this. But I'm afraid I can't clean the mess up. I'm sure you have contacts, so I'll leave you to call them in to take the bodies away."
He then addressed everyone else, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I would ask that you leave the bar when the people come in to collect the bodies." Leo sat on the bar stool and asked the bartender, "May I have a glass of whisky please?"
The barman replied, "Of course officer," the man filled up the glass.

Leo took a drink, it burned his throat. He didn't care though, Leo had to relax.

(Bleh, outposted.)

Erin flew down the streets on her bullet bike. The bike itself was quite nice, it was a nice glossy black, and gave a low powerful growl as she accelerated. The police chief insisted that she drive a car, but she preferred the bike for maneuvarability and she thought it looked nicer than the cars other drove. The most important thing was that it was hers though. As she weaved through traffic horns blared and people shouted at her, but she didn't care.

Earlier that morning she had been assigned to watch Cody Jack's bar for any low level crime, it was a rather boring job to her, but it was better than some of the other areas the others were assigned. As the bike's tires squeeled across the asphalt and into the parking area of the bar Erin pulled her sunglasses off, tucking them into her black leather purse, along with the keys to the bullet bike. She noticed her reflection in the dark window of the bar, she thought she was slightly over dressed for the pic sty she was about to enter.

When she swung the door open she noticed a police officer was questioning what a man in a flannel jacket was doing. Erin knew who the man was, he was Ryan Winchester, the man that ruined her night. She paused for a moment looking at the officer, then Ryan, and finally the man on the floor. It wasn't her job to make arrests, only to report, the other officers would take it from there. She slid the chair out with one hand and took a seat, waiting to see if she would need to interfere.

Having been ignored only angered Webb. He turned off the burners and slammed the pan into a deep sink. His coffee followed after. Wearing an apron wouldn't really do well for making a point, so it ended up being balled up and tossed into the corner. There's been a fight, someone got hit in the head with a bottle, the man is probably dead, and now people are flashing badges and guns. Worst of all, no one's bought any food. Webb slammed the kitchen door behind him as he walked out towards the patrons.

"What the hell! I've been up for half an hour," he points at flannel jacket. "you smack a guy with a barstool then a beer bottle, and he's probably dead. Now I have people showing guns and flashing their badges like this is a [censored] meth lab. Order some food or get the [censored] out! You're scaring customers away!" he yelled, almost ready to jump onto someone and strangle them.

After a moment's pause, he realized yelling at three armed people wasn't the best thing to do. This might be a bad thing.

Matt smiled at the cook.

"So sorry. What's your name friend? But please, I'll buy each man here a drink, including the Police Officer..."

He glanced to his right

"And the lady that just walked in. Thanks a lot."

((OOC: I edited you in stream :D))

"Hey, cleaning up's not my job either, the police'll come get him soon." Ryan said, as he began to turn back around.

Before he turned around he noticed a woman enter the bar, she looked familiar... Ryan wasn't sure where he had seen her before though. It all came back to him now. Last night at the fight club, she was there, betting on the guy that Ryan took down. Ryan's flashback was interrupted by the bartender who began shouting and pointing, then he was interrupted by a few police officers bursting into the bar. They looked at the man on the ground and then looked around the bar.

"Who responsible for this!?" They shouted, drawing their weapons.

"Do we really have to go through this again..." Ryan muttered.

"What was that punk?" One of the officers said, walking over to Ryan

"I'd watch your tone pal." Ryan said as he reopened his wallet, revealing his Badge and ID once more.

"Oh, forgive me sir." The officer replied.

"Just get him out of here." Ryan said, motioning at the body.

"Alright, everyone needs to evacute immediately or you can and will be arrested, under a court of law." The officer said, as he motioned for the paramedics to come in.

Everyone began to leave and the paramedics entered the bar, lifting the body onto a gurney and covering him with a black sheet, then wheeling him out of the bar. Ryan walked out of the bar and leaned against the brick wall outside, he looked up into the sky and raised an eyebrow. It was nearly pitch black outside, and it was 1:00 in the afternoon.

"What in the world...?" Ryan muttered, still gazing up into the dark sky.

Through a cascade of obscenities, Webb reluctantly exited the bar. Immediately outside he stuff another cigar into his mouth, not caring whether or not it was cut or lit correctly. He couldn't really enjoy it, but he needed something to take his mind off things. Med-X was out of the question with officers around, and the bar was off limits for now. The air outside became cold, making him shiver a bit. The sun was gone, probably by a thick cloud of rain. The anger still swelled inside of him. Webb decided the best thing for him was to go on a refreshing walk. He placed the cigar on a broken video phone and walked into the alleyway behind the bar. He was out of sight for now, and didn't think anyone noticed. Reaching into his pants pocket, he retrieved a slim syringe.

Immediately he put it into his arm, being relieved by the drug taking effect. He bent the needle backwards and tossed it into a pile of garbage. They drugs he used back here were usually blamed on homeless people or junkies. He wandered off a little further, but stayed within earshot of the group.

"Hey Mike! Wake up!"

Mike jumped up and looked to the source of the voice. It was an old officer buddy of Mike's.

"Something finally happen?" Mike asked.

"Well, yes. But it's been taken care of. But you're shift ended. You can go home."

"That's great, thanks."

Mike got up from his chair and walked to the door. He grabbed his coat from the hanger, and went outside to the streets. His lady wasn't expecting him home for the next few hours, so he figured he'd stop by at the local bar. Have a few drinks, maybe meet some people. When he got to the pub, he realized the sky has been pitch black. How did he not notice. He saw Ryan step out of the bar, and look to the sky. Mike went and greeted him.

"Am I crazy, or are we seeing the same thing?"

The police force showed up quickly after Erin arrived. She wasn't sure who sent the message, but she was glad. As Erin exited the bar she noticed how dark it was for the time of day. It wasn't her main concern though. Ryan had caused quite a ruckus and she wasn't going to let him get off clean. She approached Ryan and stopped a few feet away from him, incase he tried anything.

"So what's an FBI agent doing at an illegal fight club?" Erin asked calmly.

Matt walked outside, wanting to see what all the commotion was about. There were police everywhere, but that was just a sideline problem. It was 1pm and yet the sky was as dark as it would be at 1am. Most people who had noticed this were looking up; staring at the sky wondering what the hell was going on. What in the world? Now Matt didn't believe in the paranormal, and all that crap as he put it, but this wasn't supposed to happen.

"Umm, anyone know what the hell is happening here?"

"Am I crazy, or are we seeing the same thing?" A voice said from beside Ryan.

"If you're seeing a pitch black sky in the middle of the day, then no, you're not crazy." Ryan said, still looking up into the sky.

Even the moon could be seen, there were no stars, but there were a few thin grey clouds drifting past the illuminating moon. It didn't make any sense.

"So what's an FBI agent doing at an illegal fight club?" Another voice asked, right infront of Ryan.

Ryan looked down at the woman, it was her, the girl at the fight club.

"I was just about to ask you the same thing." Ryan said, letting out a smirk.

"If you're seeing a pitch black sky in the middle of the day, then no, you're not crazy."

Mike let out a single "Ha" before opening the door to the bar.

"You can't go in there." someone said, but Mike still cracked the door open.

He looked inside and saw a bit of blood on the ground, and some officers in the room.

'This is probably what he was talking about' Mike thought to himself.

He showed his badge, so he wouldn't get in trouble for looking in the room, and kept down the streets. He was headed home.

Mel sighed as he walked out of the bar. He was glad he could get away from the shop for a while, but disappointed that there had been a fight. So he began walking back to his garage. Then, he noticed it was nearly pitch blace

"Well, thats just great." He said to himself, sarcastically. He hated the dark.

Max was exiting his office for his lunch break, being one of the few doctors in town he has a lot of work. Today was worst than usual, some idiot, couldn't remember his name, had to get his foot amputated. The idiot got on a cut on his foot and instead of treating it, he let it be. Needless to say, it got infected and by the time he thought he should come here, it was too late for his foot.

Maybe even for his life. Not my fault if he does..

He had given him the best treatment available, and left him with the nurse, his sister Abel. If he died it was his own fault. He continued walking into the street, people moving out of his path as he went. Some asked him questions, medical ones, he just ignore them. Unless someone died, he was going to have a normal lunch. He thought about taking a taxi, but forgot about it. They creeped him out, actually one in particular was creeping. Walking was healthy anyways.

All of a sudden it was dark. A pitch black, creepy dark, only the moon and stars lit up the night, or the day actually.

What the hell......

He had a very bad feeling about this, there was no way to explain why this was happening. He hadn't noticed that had kept walking while looking up and nearly ran into a police officer. In fact, there was a lot them, right by a bar.

Oh god, probably some idiots that got into a fight.

"What the hell is going on around here!," he shouted as he shouldered through the police.

((OCC:))This feels like a lame post..
