People post! The Legion must take the fort, so make some good posts we'll lose men but we'll get the fort no matter what.

Waiting on Stormcloak activity for Kahn to laugh at and Aki for Lyrial to reply to, so I'm at the mercy of others atm. And Uni, too =P

I couldn't help myself! It didn't help that when I first played the game and was talking to Balgruuf, my dad walked in and said "Hey, that dude's like Theoden." So it ws kinda a tribute to my dad

Did anyone else look at Whiterun and go
"My god... it's Edoras..."

EDIT: Sorry if I'm posting frequently.... SOOOO much to get through

Yesss, I got back from the midnight release of Skyrim, came in, popped it in, emerged from the woods around Riverwood and instantly said outloud: Rohan. Edoras. Then I went into Dragonsreach and instantly said outloud: Edoras. Theoden. Two Towers. What is this.

Well, she's not a mind reader - and geting at teh bottom of the Legion's totem pole hasn't given her much admiration toward aynone higher on that pole. But at least Lyrial has the excuse of being squeaking new, unlike Brogan.

Going to attack a fort and bringing zero siege quipement, not even axes to cut down a treetrunk and ropes to make handles and use it as a battering ram, is a major screweup. The magic used to burn the door would have been available to burn Stormcloaks instead... Or maybe summoning something strong, dumb and though enough (Ogrim, frost atronach or the like) to kick the door and draw attention away from the Legionnaires.

Yeah, Lyrial is now incredibly sceptical of her superior officer. In fact, I'm surprised the other Legionnaire PCs haven't split off into their own little indie squad group yet XD

With the numbers involved and the fight happening without much possibility for retreat, I'm expecting something like half a dozen Legionnaires in fighting condition at best, another half-dozen walking wounded and maybe up to twenty badly injured - which in the end is likely to make 20 survivors with possibly some of them crippled (missing limbs or parts therof, ruined articulations and the like). And that would be an optimistic count, half that wouldn't be far fetched assuming the Legion wins . Even with Captainrex stating as GM fiat that the Legion will win, it will be by a paper thin margin.

Depending on how many Stormcloaks were in the woods, we might very well end up trapped in the fort - though we would have the advantage of having a roof over our heads and supplies available. But with the problem having something like 30 to 40 Stormcloaks and bandits prisonners to handle, unless we're willing to finish them off.

Didn't Brogan say something about fearing a dragon attack... was that supposed to be a hint or just a fear that he has...

Ranry, there's the big boss's shieldbearers to deal with, feel free to control the two scout's actions in dealing with them, now that Fara's out of action until she manages to get out - logically the batle will be finsished when she does it.

That's the sort of problems which makes the Rabid Koala style of combat a seldom used one....

The Stormcloak situation is beyond crisis point right now. If none of the other True Sons and Daughters of Skyrim can be reached, should we abandon the mission or regroup with a different make-up? There must be at least one Stormcloak not lost in the blackhole of that room.

Kahn is the kind of character who can safely disappear and appear again on a whim. He's a bit freaky like that. So....uh...yeah, whatever happens he'll crop up again.

Well, I'm stil here with Skir. If nobody shows their face in a few days, I have a plan as to something that can happen. We'll rp a dragon arriving, attracted by the sounds of earlier battle. In the confusion and panic, those stormcloaks who are still active (as far as I can see its Skir and yourself) escape together, perhaps with a couple npcs. Where we go from there is up to us, we could go to Whiterun, or to Ulfric. Either is fine.

Hey hey hey, I'm still head honcho of the Stormcloaks. And should nobody else make a post for the Stormcloak side, then I will quite literally will shout them through the wall.... or have them mauled by a dragon that attacks. And we could go to Ulfric.

Personally I'd still like to liberate the fort and its prisoners, also, maybe Rex could allow some new recruits to replace the Stormcloaks that WILL DIE WITHIN 3 DAYS (real life) IF THEY DO NOT POST. And its nearly pointless to even make that threat cause I'm pretty sure everyone short of Vincent and Ranry, (and Kayle I guess), seem to have dropped off the face of the earth.

I kind of think its important, what with the thread losing a handful of people, we move towards unifing the different threads of the rp. I.e get everybody, Legion, Stormcloak and Neutral in the same general area. I'm still very much for a siege of Whiterun.

I'd lay siege to Whiterun, but I was hoping we'd bolster our forces with the prisoners we liberated from the fort. That was the whole point of my little set up, notice how I mentioned, "It would make our next task much less difficult". But, I suppose we could just forget about everything planned and go ahead with a siege, despite severely [censored] up the flow of the Stormcloak story-line.

Well kids, this is what happens when RP'ers drop-out.

Well, the way I see it we could potentially do the prison storyline, but as far as I can see there's only four Stormcloaks left, I think it's important to merge all the disparate groups so we dont loose any more people to feeling isolated. I'm sorry Jonas that we might not be able to go to the prison, but I think its more important we merge, thats just my view.

I think though Ulfric will send a big army to besiege Whiterun, so the few-hundred in the fort won't make a huge difference. I'd assume he'd send a force of several thousands.
