The reason is because every single thread in this Forum has a 200 post limit.

Merry Christmas!

Also, I think its time we removed the following people from the character list, since they haven't posted in ages/ never posted.

Uglius Maximus

Dark Zerker

JK653

Macharius

Chriso123 (possibly? Hasn't posted since before Fort Hraggstad)

Schmuty Buncis

Erasmos

Jerod Kayne

They can rejoin of course if they return, but we should remove them for now to make room for other, more active players should they have an interest in joining.

One the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me... a beer... ( was tempted to put "an arrow iii-iiiin the kneeeeeeeee...)

You guys wouldn't mind if I put up another post would you? I know there isn't many posts between my last one, but I need to get a few in so that I can advance the storyling for the neutral faction (oh yes, something is looming). Sorry if that is an inconvenience.

I was just going to ask if maybe the battle for Fort Hraggstad could start fairly soon? I can't post much for Aki 'till it does.

Witth still something like 90-100 Stormcloak and up to 50 bandits inside the fort compared to a company of about 100 legionaires, I don't think Brogan will be eager to assault the fort - usually when attacking a fortified positions you want at least a 2 to 1 advantage if not more to compensate the advantage given by fortifications.

With odds like that, the logical option would be to bottle up Stormcloaks in the fort while calling for reinforcements (and possibly some engineers and some siege equipment - ladders, balistas to beat the wall-walk from out of archery range. Or mages for similar but more portable firepower)

I thought there were more than 100 legionaries?

If thats the case, they'll have to get reinforcements, unless some trickery is involved? Perhaps some people can come across a secret passage or hear it from a soldier who used to guard the fort. If the forts defences were comprimised then victory could be achieved.

Also...I gone dun drawed a pic-a-tyre. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/5901/farchag.jpg

As far as I understand the Legion force was epxected to get rid of something like 50 bandits, logicaly with some extras in case they were more. That mean something like 100 to 150 soldiers, giving an expected 2 or 3 to one advantage in number..

The presence of the Stormcloak means bout three time the expected numbers, and probably four to five time the combat power (Stormcolaks can be expeced to be a cut above bandit, both in training and gear).

Which means the Legion need to gather two to three time their initial number to get back to acceptable odds.

I wish to join as a neutral character, but I wondered, what sort of stuff are the neutral characters expected to do? And to what extent can a neutral character affect the RP? Can a character create a quest for other characters for example?

Neutral characters tend to do as they please more or less, but should the RP go on (as I hope it does), then the idea is that eventually, they'll have to pick a side. They may not have to join that faction, but at some point you'll probably be fighting for one side or the other. And yes, they can create "quests" or influence other characters, eg, my character sent out job advertisemants and some people replied to them.

We all love lore  (or at least I do). I'm also the neutral GM, so you'll be hearing a lot from me, but yeah, send it to Rex first

EDIT: Just had a look at your picture Ranry... love it ;)

If we win the battle we should take monsterous casualties, like the named characters and maybe 10 or 12 others surviving. Perhaps though it might be interesting to lose the battle, get captured by Stormcloaks, and later escape, having to sneak back to Imperial/neutral lines in Whiterun. All the while pursued by the Stormcloaks, some of which could be player Characters (I know Skir wont be fighting Thalmor, so he could join in the chase.)

Lyrial's familiar is a semi-independent magical construct. Hope it's alright for it to go poking around to try and track Aki. Getting back into the habit of posting after the Xmas break, heh. Stuff is rolling along quite fast it seems.
