Cross Bow

Would be cool. To use it though, you should have to have an extremely high marksman skill.

I'd want both a Crossbow and a Spear, they're my two favourite weapons, so naturally they'd be my first choice too include.
I'd also deem it much more likely that Nords would use Crossbows above normal bows, so hopefully that is a reason to include them, not to mention that they are both so highliy demanded.

Can't think of any other weapons i'd want tbh, the list there doesn't really excite me as much as Crossbows and Spears, and I think things like Flails and Nunchucks would be hard to animate well.

The more weapons the better. 'Twas a sad day for me when I learned Oblivion lacked spears, crossbows and thrown weapons, the three weapon types I used most in morrowind.

Seems like they should implement long bows and short bows before adding in crossbows. And if they are going to add in crossbows I'd prefer they not give them unrealistically fast reloading times.

Edit: More weapon styles would be awesome. Spears first though

- Dual wield daggers - only daggers or similarly small, lightweight weapons.
- spears (as melee weapon, and as throwable)
- crossbow (and repeating xbow - not unimaginable, considering the Chinese had invented it the 2nd Century A.D.
- nets (held in the offhand, meant to entangle the opponent)
- halberds and other diquexe style weapons
- bolas

A repeating crossbow would be pretty awsome.

I think that the spears should be used as projectiles and melee weapons. I also think they should give us the option to duel wield!

Crossbow. Yes Please.
Spears. Non-Throwable please.
Other. Katanas, Scimitars, Falchions, Stilettos, Bowie Knives (I know they don't fit at all, but I am obsessed with them) Throwing Knives (stealth weapon) and darts (throwable or blowgun)

Also, I want to see semi-realistic war hammers

NO flails. It requires a lot work to animate one and they better use their resources for something more important.

Can we get some variety of epic war-hammers in Skyrim? I mean big Thor like viking men running around the mountains: it just kinda fits. I would also love to see dual wield daggers especially for assassin type classes to make up for lack of armour and larger weapons.

I support throw-able Tankards of Ale Mead for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Fixed. Nords drink mead! :grad: :P I also support this.

I'm more of a bow than crossbow kind of guy but I would like to see them come back cause I know a lot of you would be happy about that
Spears and Flails would also be welcome returns!

i'd like to see crossbows and spears in but really only for completness because its unlikely that i'd use them. i'm not a fan of the idea of dual wielding as i think it'd be difficult to implement well and i don't see how nunchuks would fit in lore-wise, same witrh throwing stars. throwing daggers i can see being put in though.

Seeing the return of the crossbow would be nice. The spear I think should especially come back given that it is set in Skyrim and if the weapon choice for the Nords is anything like historical Norse there be lots of spears. I think seeing along with throwing daggers some throwing axes would be a nice choice. Though I would hope that any such weapon could be used normally and not just only to throw.

Yeah they got swords so they are the only weapons we need and the only armor we need is leather armor and the only skill we need is the play skill and we only need a game world consisting of one room because why have more rooms than one when we already have one?

i never understood why we couldn't dual wield small weapons (like daggers or fist weapons) in TES3/4. would be awesome for a rogue build.

seems like something easy to put in.
