If im correct JohnC is responsible for balance in crysis 3 so thats why its targeted at him.

First of all, i think you are doing a decent job at trying to balance this game but scar should be fixed by now. I get it, you dont want to rush it but after patch C there is still no reason to use anything else than scar. Long range damage never was the problem with scar, it was its close range damage, i would even dare to say that scar have faster TTK than typhoon without losing range or control.

There is still almost 0 recoil when tapping, it still destroy everything at every range, to be honest i didnt felt any nerfs. I honestly cant understand why would anyone consider scar to be balanced when you compare it to: scarab, k volt, mike or ogr, i honestly cant grasp it.

Fy7 can only come close to scar because of rapid fire and even then its a lot weaker close range while not being really better at longer ranges.

Unless scar get huge close range damage nerf OR so much recoil that its unusable at long range it wont be balanced, mark my words.

I've been noticing a lot of people using it. The recoil does seem to be drastically low.

The tapping the trigger is a bug they haven't fixed yet (i Hope) No f-ing way assault rifles should have zero spread and zero recoil into infinity.

True damage has been toned downed some, but damage isnt the problem, the scars accuracy and reach is.

I had a match on Penn Depot and went 70-8 with scar. If I had been using another weapon, then perhaps 30-40 maybe even 25.

Is it a bug or did you just kinda "miss" that ? To be honest if tapping isnt as effective it would resolve a lot of balance issues (mostly with fy7 and scar) and rapid fire would finally have a drawback.

Nerfs aside, could you tell me if you plan on making m.i.k.e more useable ? It really takes a lot of screen space and on top of that muzzle flash is blinding me :( pretty hard to use from the hip. O.G.R need some help, less recoil maybe. K volt seems weak as well, a bit less spread would be nice.

Oh and bow crosshair isnt too good in my opinion, those side lanes are totally not needed there and i find it hard to see at times, changing color to cyan (dot only) or something like that would make it more visible.

It's a bug and I've known about it for a while, its not an immediately apparent one for 90% of players though so has been relatively low priority.

I think you under-estimate the ingenuity of players, really. I found out this "bug" day one of the alpha and it has been invaluable since then.

Zero recoil with the HMG? Yeah...

That said, it'll be interesting how this tweak will affect the AR's vs. some of the one hit weapons.. this could create some new frustrations/imbalance when the AR can't counter-attack some butthole with auto-armor and a OHK or other imbalancing weapon that is engaging from range.

Lol now it will be imbalanced like u said, now ppl will start to use ars at close medium range and ppl will dominate them with marshall jackel feline ect ars shouldve atleast kept their long range ability oh well thts really gnna ruin the game for alot of ppl using ars at close mid range just sayin
