Cry-Adam :

What were the results of you passing our lag issues on to Crytek?? What were their findings??

I'm waiting in anticipation.

Lag issues are still pretty bad for me, plenty of killcams, even final kills where you can see that the killer isn't even pointing anywhere near the victim. In a couple of games some other guys with mics even remarked on it. Worst issue tonight however has had to have been the shear number of games that have dropped. I'd say with 2 hours play easily 60% of my games ended in lost host.

The kill cams are laughable, to put it politely. I noticed a heck of a lot of host dropping and host migration last night 1/5/11.

I was host a few times and my Xbox froze. If this is happening to a lot of people, this could be huge problem. This never happens to me ever. There were a lot of host migrations last night and glitches. I saw teammates without any gamertags above their characters. I think last night was the worst experience I ever had in gaming online.

All the changes that were done regarding the server side weapon tweaks seemed to have been erased by the new patch. It feels much more difficult to score kills.

Host selection and the netcode in general are simply a digital abortion. Whenever the game manages to find what appears to be a good host, for the next match it picks the worst host and NO ONE HAS LEFT THE GAME!!

I'll play 3 or 4 games and no one will leave the lobby, yet the host selection is ALL OVER THE PLACE. The game needs find a reliable host and stick with them.

Matchmaking collapses during map selection. Its been over a week since I've played Sanctuary, Downed Bird, Lighthouse, Wall Street. Typically when these maps come up the matchmaking collapses and kicks me and my party to the MP frontend.

HOST MIGRATION still migrates NOTHING!!

The list of unhappy CUSTOMERS grows larger.

aimmos90, TwistedBuddhaX & Larry865 - Take your arguments and little stabs at each other elsewhere please.

Can you please confirm or deny whether there is any patch in the making that addresses Crysis 2 Multiplayer Lag???
The information and scale of this issue has been passed on. I've not received any information back regarding progress on the issue.

Cry-Adam, what are the latest from Crytek regarding these very worrying issues??

Cry-Adam :

You posted that you were 'passing on the scale of the lag issue' to Crytek on on April 29th.

I am sure that Crytek would have got back to you by now, again I ask you politely :

This is the latest, on top of the very regular lag - the latest 'fault' to add to the ever growing list is the game is ticking down on a map that's already been VOTED for and then you get kicked from that game, put into a totally different map with different players. This is happening very frequently, this game really is scraping the bottom of the barrel at the moment.

Shambolic.

CRY-ADAM :

WHAT IS THE FEEDBACK FROM CRYTEK REGARDING YOU PUTTING OUR 'GROWING LAG CONCERNS' ACROSS TO THEM FROM 29TH APRIL 2011???

You are right watzcoc1, Cry-Adam has closed and removed some posts (all regarding lag). I am not sure why this has been done. As the multitude of posts by different people only means one thing - the game has a tonne of problems. How removing posts helps this issue (lets face it, it doesn't) is beyond me.

I guess Crytek doesn't want to scare off anyone else stupid enough to fork out £40 / $60 for Crysis 2 in such a unfinished state. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

I have a better solution Crytek, fix the game and the posts will cease to be multiplying all over the PC, PS3 and Xbox forum pages due to your sub-standard NETWORK CODING.

Another day, another dollar hey Crytek??

Another day of silence no doubt about your pathetic attempt at net coding.

Will do mate, problem is I've stopped playing this game at the moment.

Brinks out in the UK on Friday, I'm guessing it may go in for a trade if Crytek keep this silence up.

I would have considered DLC if they responded in a more professional way, but the way it is at the moment, no way.

I saw one of the people from my friends list playing Crysis 2, I could tell from his stats 19 Kills 7 Deaths that he has probably played about 2 games in Multiplayer.

I sent him a message :

'Hey man, what do you think of Crysis 2 Multiplayer?'

His reply :

'It's very laggy and pretty hard'

I had to chuckle, he's played about 2 games and he states that.

On a side note, that is same place where Crytek Frankfurt recruited their staff members for Crytek UK.
