Lol, did u even read the source? Cry-Tom said that this was just a rumor.

They both actually have their drawbacks, Cryengine 2 is better in some respects, Cryengine 3 in others. Overall I'd say Cryengine 3 pulls ahead; sadly Crysis 2 simply spits on the engine and demeans its potential.

We'll speak about the engine when / if the Sandbox 3 will be released. Till than it's kinda pointless.

is there any news when this is going to be released for the community??? or is this only going to be available to dev's only??
