Cryis 1 system optimization.

Post » Sat Mar 19, 2011 7:45 am

Ok here is the deal,

I want to run crysis on a laptop using;
- Intel core duo processor T6400 (2.0 GHz, 500 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 Cache)
- NVIDIA GeForce 9600M (up to 1791 MB)
- 3GB DDR3

i generally use it for work but also for the occasional game, It has two seperate drives with the second not being used at all.

Any advice and tips for optimising it to run crysis well will be greatly appreaciated

How'ya figure sports fan?

it meets all the minimum system requirements (the processor is a duo and is actually 4GHz rather than 2)

I'm pretty sure it'll run, i managed to get the game to run on my computer with a built in NVIDIA 6150se after messing around with the config files.

My advise:

Use Msters Config 3.01 and choose the "performance" config.

Now C1 runs smoothly on my friends Laptop.... hope it also works out for you!
