Crysis 2 360 Patch - 1.1.1.8051

Post » Wed Jun 15, 2011 11:17 am

The irony is, when Crytek whined about the leak of Crysis 2 prior to it's release they implied people would judge an inferior product which was unfinished.

Funny, they seem to have packaged the very same and sold it to us.

@Cry-Adam, why no mention of the grain glitch in the latest patch notes like you did for 1.1.1.8003 patch?? What's up with that? Are you guys no longer working to resolve it?

Well Cry-Adam? I see you lurking on the boards. Care to enlighten us?

360 Changes
? Fixed issue with missing unlock tokens if players quit from a game where they leveled up before the game finished

I updated the game today, and I was excited about finally going to unlock the achievement Tooled Up, but when I enter the multiplayer was nothing, the weapon unlock I lost was not. I played a match and it has not given me anything. Does this mean I have to restart the suit again and go up to level 50 for the third time? I am very disappointed. My Gold account expires soon, I have no time, plus I'm never going back to waste time on something that cost me so much effort, now it no fun for me and I do not trust. I gave my support to Crytek from the first Crysis, I paid 70€ in Crysis 2 in the same time of release (an exception) and I recognize it is a great game, but you have no respect for our merits. I will consider this in the future.

Thank you for your patience and we look forward to your feedback on the new patch.

How much more patience must we have for the grain glitch to be fixed?!? It's not fixed. There's my feedback.

You're welcome.

Are you people seriously that annoyed with a glitch you only notice if you are looking out for it? Does it really hinder the game that much for you that you refuse to play it? It happened to me in the game, I seen it, but it definitely bring the game next or near to unplayable status.

"OMG CRYTEK!! DIS GRAIN IZ LIK DA WORST TING IN NE GAME EVAAAAR!! I"M NEVER PLYIN YUR GAMEZ AGAIN!!11!!!1!"
Calm the hell down. If Crytek don't see it as a priority bugfix (not saying they do) then it'll take longer to be amended. The problems with bugs is that sometimes fixing one can cause several more. They are rarely straightforward to fix.

How about you all complain about some real problems like weapon OP (Shotguns and Feline with Rapid fire, I mean, WTF?) Or the ear-drum bursting audio loop/multi-overlay on MP lobbies and match loading screens.

How are the "minor" (read: MAJOR) lobby issues post patch?

How is multiplayer in general? How are migrations?

What "Minor MP squad issues" were fixed? can you be more specific? does that mean that when I have a squad and try to connect to a match, ALL of my squad members will be added? and we'll be on the same team?

I'd hardly call the squad issues minor!

Not even having all your squad get into the same game, and if they do, they're split up DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF BEING IN A SQUAD AND IS A MAJOR SQUAD ISSUE!!

uuuummm... yep, that's why I quoted the word minor mp squad issues. Minor was their word, not mine.

Those are the only squad issues I've experienced, and yes I find them to be major issues as well.

I guess that didn't come across as intended on the internet!

What pisses me off the most is that Cry-Adam told me they had reproduced the grain glitch. Well WTF Cry-Adam?? Did you just flat out lie or what? Did the QA team just reproduce it for a good laugh? WTF?????

Myabe they can't fix it? or it would be too big? do games seem smoother or anything guys?

This is why I haven't and will not purchase the DLC.

Crytek have treated us like mugs from the beginning.

Not one mention in the new Patch Notes about the Grain Glitch......

I've said all along, Crytek are amateurs.

If Crytek cannot fix the Grain Glitch then we should be communicated with on this matter. But no, it's always the 'Crytek way' - Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil.

What a bunch of jokers

Hi guys, it's Demanufakture here. For some reason my account I use for this site won't let me log into the forums all of sudden for some reason and it has, out of nowhere, 45 PM's which it also will not let me see. Every time I try to log into the forum or look at my account it logs me out. I signed in with my email address instead of my Nickname and it let me log in with this new profile with a series of numbers for my name instead of my nickname. Anybody else having forum issues right now?

I've had the same problem for the past 2 weeks. I have to constantly delete mycookies from this site to be able to log into this account. Try deleting the cookies from this site and see if that helps

Your account has probably been banned.

Crytek apparently do not like anybody who dares oppose their 'beautiful game'

I've noticed a lot of popular players missing off these forums, now this leaves 2 possibilities :

(1) They've been banned by Crytek because they question the direction of Crysis 2 and it's problems that aren't being addressed

or

(2) They've traded the game in and have given up on playing due the Crysis 2's problems that aren't being addressed.

Either way, not a good indication on the longetivity of the life of Crysis 2.

I hope the matches do not start with squads now until the other team is full, so it does not split your squad.

Maybe that is the minor MP squad fixes

Well, still haven't gotten around to changing the game's hit detection back to a better suited multiplayer build. It's depressing how much potential this game wastes. I just found out they're releasing another mappack just a month after releasing the other? Seriously? Crytek needs to focus on the major complaints of players then squash the minor problems player's don't notice behind the curtains. I know 1 thing at least, this game has taught me to be as patient as a monk. I've never waited this long to have a consistent playing experience in my gaming life.

the sound bug which shatters your hearing is still there but at least I don't need to fear missing unlocks/stat reboots anymore. the matches just now were fairly playable but the sound during the loading screen is so unnerving still...

So...no connections fix or lag fix or hit detection fix or grain fix. All the issues that have been there since launch and the reason I've regretted buying it and have been thinking about trading it in. The first game I've ever thought about trading in...*Sigh* I was bound to make a game buying mistake eventually. Sad it had to be this one with so much potential.
