Dear Cry-team support:

Can you please confirm that when a genuine Crysis 2 CD Key runs out of activations it can be renewed through EA Customer Support indefinitely.

Activation limit? theres a **** activation LIMIT/! WTF MAN.
Because of numerous problems ive had to reinstall windows about 4times, so i had to use the key 4times. WTF MAN.
So i have to pay for the game AGAIN? just to get a code? -.-

:Edit./ Now because some of my map files are corrupt and crysis 2 wont even start up( as it freezes when it gets to the eye ) i have to reinstall.

Im guessing they put an activation limit so you cant give the code to all of your friends

I guess you can deauthorise it from your machine so you can activate it more times. Just be sure to deauthorise it. I think I read somewhere that you need to go on activation.exe in game folder where is Crysis2.exe located...

Well, i couldnt deauthorize 3times because windows got corrupted so had to reinstall it.. but just now i deauthorized it because i was able to. (cuz i had to reinstall game)

Historically, EA has been decent about restoring activations...

I put a new CPU in my system and later noticed an activation had been used up and I had 4 of 5 remaining. Since though it has been restored to 5 of 5. Dunno why.

However, I don't think a system restore would use an activation as you are using the same kit.

Guys, crytek already took your money for the game, so you have rights to play it. If you can't activate it, maybe you should try with c.rack for pirated game, because you already payed for serial...
