Crysis 2 Activation Manager Serial Number Invalid

after some very strange problems(could not disable High Res textures,DX-11 mode,crashs and so on)i decided to reinstall(deactivated with no problems)after downloading again on Origin and installing with no problems at all, update to 1.9 patch and DX 11, the Activation manager pops up so a enter my Key(witch was perfectly fine even on multiplayer)i got the Invalid Serial Code, tried to contact the EA but the Support keeps refreshing me to log-on page every time i log in, i realy have no idea whats wrong i dont think my system is the problem, if anyone can help me i thanks in advance

System Spects(important stuff)
PSU: Corsair HX850
Video Card:XFX Radeon HD 5970
CPU:Quad Core Q8400

did you try to reinstall the game in whole and see if that clear the problem? you know i had this problem when i changed from the nvidia card to the ati card. and then it would not let me in to the game. but after in reinstall the game it was fine.

call ea games. you can google it. or go to the ea game support page login with your email and password and have them call you back to fix the problem they may give you a new key to us with the game. and remember it depends on where you live. if your in the usa. they are closed. so they will call you in the morning time.

you mean unistalling everything again? and then trying the whole process again?not even thought about that, did you got the "Invalad Serial Code" on the Activation Manager?i recently installed the modded TWL 10.5 drivers but i dont think thats the issue here

yes i had that problem when i changed cards. its got to be a ati problem. with the new patch.

i live in brazil man, have no idea when to call, plus it would be REAL expensive to do that , it would be very nice to have the web-chat, but as i said, their so called "support site" just keeps redirecting me to the log-in page every time i trie to log-in(infinite loop). BTW my version is a Digital One(Origin Store)

Thanks my friend, will try that much later since its alredy 2:38AM here and i suppose its past 10pm in your place, meanwhile i will try to reinstall crysis and update my Drivers to 11.7b, really appreciated your help

also i dont know if your online. for me i think the only thing i need to do is upgrade my cpu to a quad core. thats why i think my computer is crashing. so i think i just need to uninstall both.

i mean i have 16gb of system ram and its still does not work.

so for me i think just having the directx 9 version will work best for me. and just set it to very high mode. since directx 11 and the high rez pack are optional.

Sorry, i was updating drivers and stuff, so i am re-downloading again and expecting to able to play, Drivers are updated, everething clean and so on, still cant enter the support page of EA, so if i cant use the web-chat i try calling them, and about the system, my quad core is not overclocked, so getting really bad performance(Radeon 5970 is VERY Bootleneckd by MOBO,RAM and CPU) my mobo is a crap low end gigabyte that is not even PCI-E 1.1,waiting for other mobo that i had bought for overcloking that was DDR3 compatible,but came faulty and it was sent to RMA for about 2 weeks and no anwers,yes the sellers here just svck at everything,RMA,Support and even more at the price(on the internet its about to 4 to 5 more costly than what you guys pay over there, on Stores, well i would say 7 to 8 times, i saw an Radeon 6990 two days ago on the best Computer shop around here for about 2700 dolars, and my Radeon costed me about 1500 dolars)so right now im waiting for the Bulldozer or the LGA 2011 for a real upgrade XD

so i am guess from what you typed was that it was a outdated system. ya todays computers do 2.1 or 2.0 for pci-e for cards. and they are DDR3 ram sets. for the future ram is going to DDR4 ram sets. and pci-e is going to 3.0 aka X16 to X32. and cpu will be apu's, so ya the apu is happening right now. the ram is the next thing to happen. and the pci-e is the last thing to happen.

in the end i had to call them, the good news is that the problem is now solved, i have no idea for why my serial was getting the Invalid Code, but i got a new one that works very nice ;] thx for the help dwearth, btw i realy liked the Phone support ;].

Hi,

I have the same problem - for almost a month now. I purchased the game through gamesas.com and was provided with a licence key. Dowloaded it, copy & pasted the key (so no typos possible) and it told me my key was invalid. I used the support form 4 times, never received any answers from Crytek. I contacted Electronic Arts, they replied that they could not help and that I needed to contact Crytek. I have emailed Crytek on all email addresses I could find (incl. copyright@crytek.com etc) - no answer whatsoever. I found out that Crytek really is using the direct2drive.com service to deliver the game. I opened a ticket at their support website on July 15th. No answer and the ticket still is in "open" status.

I am totally frustrated now as they have debited my credit card already. Nobody talks to me -> it is so unprofessional. Please, can anybody help or proivde me with a contact telephone number or email address?
