Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options Application Version 1.6!

Remember to delete your autoexec.cfg left behind by older versions or anything you created. This has been known to cause a crash. Still working on why.

I have a suggestion,

If it is possible to adjust the strength of the motion blur and blooml/hdr effects, please add in an option that would allow us to do so. Preferably in the form of typing in a number and not 'low, medium, high' settings. Thanks.

Nice work with the program btw.

The mouse acceleration option is i_mouse_accel=0 right? Whats the command for Mouse Accel Max?

I'm missing the option to set cl_sensitivity

Does anyone know how to stop this thing because I'm getting alot of graphical bugs (ie screen going black when there's explosions, motion blur going mental with the slightest movement...), or should I just set everything back to what it was originally?

I'm guessing you have mouse accel on, set to 100, this causes the slightest movements to cover half the screen. I had something similar with the motion blur happen to me, just go into the autoexec.cfg file that the program created and delete the entry for motion blur, that should revert it back to normal, or if you want no motion blur, then in the program set it equal to 0 and that should do it.

So far this has been excellent. I love having the options to enable and disable most of the functions. The only thing I wish we could fix as a community is the amazing dissapearing Nano Catalyst. Mine wont even start saving the Nano Catalyst until I have played at least 2 chapters once resuming the game.

That's coming. I'm still not 100% sure what those commands are.

That's what Toggle Zoom does. Check it if you don't want to hold the mouse button.

to disable the bloom just open the autoexec.cfg with the notepad and add this line to the file and save:

r_HDRBrightLevel = 0

my recommend value for this setting is r_HDRBrightLevel = .6 , the game looks awesome with this value removing all the excessive bloom, also recommend set the field of vision between 70 and 75 on 1080p widescreen monitors

What's the default level? If I know it, I can make it so you can choose from 0 - default level.

I don't know if it is this programs fault or if it has been posted before, but I am having an issue when motion blur is turned completely off. When I get hurt (without armor mode, when the screen gets bloody), the screen either goes black (except the HUD), or a picture of what was on the screen when I got hurt lays itself over what actually happens on the screen. This doesn't happen if I turn motion blur on again. I use version 1.4.

Awesome work with the program btw.

I think I know why that is the way it is. I'm currently building version 1.5. Hopefully I can fix this weird motion blur problem.

@wasdie: In another version could you make some tweaks to improve performance a little, with less impact on quality?

I have some suggestions for settings you should add to the program.

First of all, bloomy lense flares can be defeated with either of these settings:

r_HDRBloomMul = 0
r_HDRBrightLevel = 0

I'm not sure if you get different visuals with either setting. I should really take some screen shots to test that.

Also, I'd like to see an option for tweaking sys_spec_quality. This setting is unusual, because it is part of sys_spec_shading. It really needs to be set on it's own. For one thing, sys_spec_quality can be set to 4, while everything else only goes up to 3. Sys_spec_quality also has a huge effect on framerate. It set it to 1 and my framerate went up by at least 25%.

When you put these setting into the autoexec.cfg file, make sure they come after sys_spec_shading, or the settings will be lost.

Great tool mate!

I'm currently running console commands through the shortcut of the game, it does almost what you have here my only concern is.

If I get graphical errors is there a way I can redo it? Also once Crytek comes out with a patch and whatnot, it will look for the autoexec.cfg file and the only one will be yours. Will this be a problem?

Just want to say that this is a great tool, so good job. Kinda amazing this was done by the community, pretty weird that Crytek didn't add more advanced control over the graphics ingame.

Will you be adding 3d options as well? At the moment I have to add values to the system.cfg to enable my IZ3D monitor and then start and exit the game in order to test out different values for separation and convergence. I was wondering if this was something that you would be considering working on?

Will 1.4 allow setting beyond crytek's supposed "extreme"?
