Turning off motionblur in the program seems to work fine for me. My issue is that you still can't turn off the fugly glow/bloom effect. It's in all of these places that it shouldn't be and it's annoying the **** out of me.

hmm, did you change any properties of the file or autoexec.cfg? like change it to read-only or anything?

Interesting lol. I'm sure Crytek will incorporate something like this in the in-game menus, but a lot of you are impatient. This is cool though, what you have here.

It's gonna take a while for Crytek to start communicating because, FYI to all you PC newbs thinking Crytek svcked up to consoles, they didn't. There's problems on 360, PS3, and PC altogether for Crysis 2. And the 360/PS3 versions need to get fixed ASAP because sony and microsoft will get pissed, specifically microsoft due to partnership.

Impatient? Doesnt take long to code in a screen that allows selection of settings that are changeable within the console anyways. Basic coding that should have been done on day 1 of the PC version's development.

But its ok, you have been on crytek's nuts ever since you've been on these forums im not surprised to see you defending their mistakes once again.

Try deleting the autoexec.cfg from your Crysis 2 root folder.

I have no idea why that bug happens.

Thank you very much Wasdie. I know you from gamespot as well, we have posted on many of the same things (Crypt_mx).

You rock bro, Crytek should get out their notepad and start taking notes. Keep it up man!

okay i have an interesting issue. It appears that the autoexec.cfg file is never created. I selected my directory but the file never shows up. I get no errors from the program but i discovered this b.c i had selected to skip the intro but after starting the game through the program, the intro wasnt skipped. I deleted the old autoexec file so idk what is going on. Any help appreciated.

This is just fantastic. Hopefully Crytek eventually wakes up and starts to listen to the community, and add these options and more in-game. But for now, this is a brilliant solution. No more headaches with that gay motion blur (the one I could actually turn off in the first crysis).

No way to get rid of the glow as of now (I'll keep working on that).

However do you want the motion blur to be severely reduced? Set postprocessing to medium and set motionblur to disabled.

If you want it gone, set postprocessing to medium. motion blur disabled, and turn off both the edge AA and MSAA. There will be no AA and no blur.

No fixes for the glow.

This will work for singleplayer only. Seems that none of these settings make their way to multiplayer. This is probably due to balancing. Don't want unfair advantages to people who know how to tweak the cvars.

Yup, without glow and hdr is so much easier to use nano vision and see people from the miles of you, and ofc kill them. I support their decision not to put that in tweakable option. It would be nice if someone can upload some screenshots with fps counter and settings before and after tweaking with this program.
