thats a impressive work, how crytek turn the modding harder when they just can allow players have access to Cvar xD tssss
Or make a correct advanced setting option like preview Crysis got... incredible.

Actually, I don't think that program has anything to do with my shadows popping in. I think it's the game.

No way to get rid of the glow as of now (I'll keep working on that).

I found the setting. r_HDRBloomMul = 0

I have a problem when I turn off motion blur, though. Certain blurring effects, like the sliding effect, mess up the sky for second.

Holy sweet Jesus porcupines! Thank you SO much for this!!!

Being able to get rid of that god awful motion blur (or at least most of it) was a HUGE improvement! Everything else is maxed out, which is the same way I had it before, but just getting rid of that motion blur alone made my game experience 10x better! Again, thank you so much!

Also, I was wondering if there might be any way to get rid of that "film grain" effect that seems to be going on. Or maybe that's just a side effect of the MSAA that I'm not used to? Anyway, thanks again for this wonderful utility! Cheers...

I only messed with the motion blur since that was the only real issue I had with the graphics, and yes I can say it definitely made a difference. I haven't tested the rest of the settings in the utility specifically. Although since I was running in "extreme" mode before, I set everything to "high" in the utility and everything looked the same (minus the motion blur). So from that standpoint, yes it does work.

Any idea?

for those who arnt getting an autoexe.cfg file , have you the retail or steam version and do you have it installed to a default directory or hard drive. just thinking that the path may be different?

OP, well done! You've single handedly beaten a multi-million pound company into making an advanced settings option. Makes you wander if all those employee wages are worth it really.

If people have problem with the program finding the autoexe.cfg file, maybe the developer behind this program could add in a manual way of setting the directory of the game? Because i tend to install my games to a custom location.
