Its because of all the problems the game had at launch and failure to fix them immediately, ive seen it happen with other games.

Aliens vs Predator 2010 on release day the game had around 10,000 players showing on the Steam User Stats. At launch the game had no dedicated servers, massive balance problems and games constantly lost sync. A week after release there were 1,000 players on Steam User Stats and now it dwindles around 300 players. They added dedicated servers, fixed the sync problems and gave some minor balance tweaks but by then the literally over 90% of the playerbase had moved on.

Things like EXP loss, disconnections and hackers should be (or should have been) top priority.. not fixing minor single player elements like Nano Catalyst. Whats the point of a DX11 patch when the game has issues? Thats like polishing a turd.

dude the reason that AvP diodnt last more then a minute in online terms is simply because. did you see the lack of effort put into the online. i mean crummy maps and even less game types to play as. it like they let a bunch of brand new employees create the games online xperience. thas why avp didnt last to long lack of gameplay and plus. AvP got exhausted during 98-02. whichh i was freakin huge fan of AvP GOLD. man i played that gaem all day and all night so much fun.

Thank you Crytek for having a demo to the game, it saved me from spending 60 bucks on a game
that was a big disappointment!

Personally, I just pirated it. But yeah, I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it either.

Totally Agree! I'm level 50 in crysis 2 right now.. had almost everything top level.. but since the new patch of this morning all my skills came back to 0 ! gotta level em up again and again? I'm sure when i was 40 i should have been 50 cuz i lost so many EXP ! Well.. and i dont even talk about glitched game everywhere today ! the new patch created more problems! i want my skills back.. not gonna do all this over again! I'm probly gonna buy battlefield 3 and put this game to garbage!

Crysis 2 and their programmers just show us they're failing on a lot of points ! I wish i could go back to store and ask my money back.. !

you should cry like bich cuz you are getting scaled down maps on bf3 on consoles.
Developers already said that they are making game specially for pc.Cuz they get free of bounds of your console hardware.
so I know who's gonna cry really hard!

Plus I never get on any game forums ,I never sign in because of biches like you.
crysis 2 was made for pc game.
But turns out its not.I had issues thats why i am here.
I think I won't be having any problem with bf 3 as I didn't had any in bfbc2.
