2. Low-res textures.
3. Linear levels.
4. Low render distances.
5. No DX11, wait a second... NOT EVEN DX10.
6. No bump mapping.
7. No parallax mapping.

9. Loads more things that SHOULD be in the game, and are missing.
10. Dumbed-down controlls for console users.

However, one thing - in Crysis 2 we don't get to see a nice sunset which Crysis 1 had.
Still I think overall CryEngine 3 is better, it's not the engine, it's what the developers do with it. (eg textures). Also... better lighting effects in CE3

because it IS perfect relative to the garbage cry 2 is.

Crysis 1 (at launch) was not perfect. NO ONE could even run the game until about a year or so afterwards. I love both Crysis 1 and 2 because they are different yet the same.
