I don't know what to think of this. Crysis 2 came out in 2011 and Crysis 3 is going to be released in 2013 it seems. From the looks of the screenshot above we still carry the N2. I'd call this Crysis 2.5

But I will still buy it.

It's still not convincing enough.
I'll wait for "Nanosuit 3.0 detected!"

Maybe Half-Life 3 will come out by then. Crysis 3 vs Half-Life 3. Who do you think will win?

Hmm, two minds about this...

On the one hand I am excited about continuing the story. An overgrown and destroyed New York sounds like an awesome environment.

On the other the game will probably enforce Origin. I didn't buy BF3 because of that so I may have to take the same stance with this. Unless I can find a workaround ;]

Still, this will probably be at least a year away and a lot can change in that time.

With Origin as an DRM there will be less hackers and less pirated copies.

I saw some concept artwork awhile ago that was supposedly for Crysis 2. Like early concepts showing a destroyed New York that had been completely overrun with trees and weeds etc. Looked like a city in a jungle.

I always thought that looked amazing and was slightly disappointed that the concept didn't make it into the game. My hunch was that the tech just wasn't powerful enough to do that scenario justice. Thing is we now have the next generation of GFX cards that may be able to render this stuff. On release I'd guess we'd be on Nvidia 7xx series cards & AMD equivalent.

HTF are the eggsBox360 & the PoS.3 gonna cope?

I hope this time they stay the **** away from the CoD formula and go back to huge maps, and bring back Power Struggle.

Someone put me in a coma, wake me up on Monday, then put me back in a coma and wake me up in a year.

Too bad if it is actually Crysis 3, it will most likely come out a few months after the announcement, or perhaps in 2013 even.

This, to me, looks like it's going to be very interesting. I really look forward to how it's going to turn out, but, even though I havent played the first game, it seems as though the single player on there was much more exciting than C2's. I would like it to try and go back to the first game's style in the Single player, but keep the Multiplayer practically the same. Perfect balance, aswell :)

If they do anything like Warface the MP will be a great success :) We gonna get a Teaser preview in a mag next week and an announcement from EA/Crytek on the 16th :)

Crysis 3, FarCry 3, GTA V, Half-Life 3 etc. Seems 2013 is a big year for games.

As a responsible community, it's our duty to make sure the faults in Crysis 3 won't be ignored.

We acted too late with Crysis 2. Last chance boys.
