for the german party, the jury didnt care about the content of the game, they looked more the technicial part, which germany want them measure it not at 1st. to explain it in short (especially for non-german ppl) an actuall topic for germany is amok. they mean, its caused of "killer games". and thats why they are for my oppinion too agressive against egoshooter and war strategic games like command and conquer, even if they say in the news (the link i sent), they would tolerate everyone playing in his personality time such games. and now they want a new jury

well then they should gonna award tetris or such things lol:D

what a f***, the biggest amok history at last times (as well as i know) was a amok in winnenden, which guy hadnt very close friends. had his own problems, ppl ANNOYED/BULLYING him. and yeah he palyed as well as i know egoshooters too. his father had/has a shooting range. for me it was sure that this guy went crazy and take a weapon. well what shall i say, ws it really the egoshooter made him going amok? or did the ppl next to him that??????


to stay in topic: its unfair, they really TRY to say politely that they dont want give such games a chance to be awarded. en the end, its sure not easy making a game, espacially if we think how many ppl work on one game. and on the opposite to be fair, for me, only racing games can hold on with egoshooters in point of technicals. so if it so, they have to award for each kind of game a extra best game award.
