Hi guys, I could do the manual patch but after that there's another problem. "CryEngine Error: Deleting Reference Counted Object Twice."
Anyone can help?

Manual patch did not find my install and have tried all the name changes posted and moving the patch.

1. Have you previously installed the Crysis 2 PC demo? YES
2. Have you uninstalled the demo before installing Crysis 2 retail? YES
3. Did you change the path for the default installation and if so, where to? NO
4. Which Operating System are you using? (Example: Win 7, 64-bit) WIN7 64
5. Where did you purchase the game from – EADM, Steam, Retail or another DD partner? STEAM
6. Can you provide the MD5 checksum for the Crysis2.exe in the game directory? Don't know
7. Which virus scanner software are you using? AVG Free

just find it funny how all of you are psting information and they dont have a fix for you. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA dont ask a crytec employee pst your problems on blizzards forums some troll can help you there faster than this half ass devo team

so it's been 5 days now this thread has been up and no one from crytek has replied to this issue, that's just brilliant!

I bought the Crysis 2 Limited Edition (UK) version and installed it on the default directory. There was no message of an available patch, nor did a patch automatically download + install. I ignored that until i entered the game and all i got was a black screen (in the start screen the submarine wasn't displayed, only the water).

What i found a bit annoying is that there is no version number displayed.

I remembered a message on the installation procedure which said "EA Download Manager is already (in a newer version) installed". In the EA Download manager only "Dragon Age II", but not Crysis 2 was displayed.

I used the "Redeem D/L Game" function of the EA Download Manager, to get Crysis2 to be displayed in the "EA Download Manager". Took me 4-5 times, inputing my serials, until Crysis2 was successfully added. A few times i got no error/success message at all, one time i got a "could not add" and one time the EA Download Manager froze.

After the Crysis2 was added to the EA Download manager i clicked on "Play" in the Download Manager and a progress bar / window poped up telling me that it was downloading + installing the 1.1 Patch.

Afterwards the submarine was displayed and my black screen issue disappeared. I could finally play the game. Yeah!

To all you peoples who can't get their patch working, download EADM and redeem your crysis 2 there and click play and it will automatic update your 1.1 version for u.

I really dont understand why again the auto updates failes to work... why not give this message when clicking the online button in game? now when you do not have the right version it simply doesnt show any servers without a message...

didnt you guys learn anything from the wars online experience?

Let people login to the game. as soon as you hit MP and see the list everyone should see a pop up with "there is a new update click here to download or press cancel to quit multiplayer.... what the hell is so hard about that?

Come on guys, every other freaking company makes it work this way...

And also make the patch findable on this website. so make a button downloads or a button patch on the top of this page. where everyone can instantly download the latest version without clicking 100 times and searching for over 30 minutes.

People shouldnt need to click the known issues bar and then read the whole post before they find the patch link. people should visit this website and instantly see if there is a new patch, including changelog.

And for the love of god please ban cheaters! maybe first time for 7 days and if they are caught again, ban ip, cd key and account so that they will never be able to play it again.

hey where is the patch 1.2

After installation I restarted pc, inserted the disc again and auto updater worked fine on 2 machines

I downloaded patch 1.2 and it cant find the game.. i get a 1642 error and from what iv read it means it cant find where the game was installed.. you know they release a patch to fix **** but the game is so **** that i cant install the patch.. omg.. fml.. if any1 can help me please please comment..
