Love these buggy, workaround and half fixes. The cant even make a working patch system.
Good to see you guys, use your (ripped off) money from PC community wise.

I can't find any services in multiplayer game, can this patch repair the problem?

MD5 Checksum Software (Freeware)

This will help you find the checksum info Crytek is asking for. Install it, use the program to browse to the exe file (found in bin32 of the install folder), and this program will give you the MD5 Checksum - hope that helps.

yeah the patch is installed, but why when you turn on a console in the main menu the game version section says: PURE RELEASE VERSION?

My system: Intel Core i7 860, ATI HD5870, 4 GB RAM, 650W PSU, Win 7 32 professional. The game is impossible to play on my system. Game always crashes just after launch. Crytek's or EA's logo apears and it crashes. All i can do then is manually reboot my system. Reinstalled my Windows, tried different VGA drivers, but nothing helps. Yesterday installed ATI Catalyst driver 10.12 and it finally worked, played about an hour - everything worked just fine, but today it doesn't work again. Don't know what to do... Any ideas? Thank you.

An issue has been discovered with regards to the EADM version of the game where a copyright symbol is inserted into the folder name upon installation, which is causing the patch to fail.

1 If your Crysis 2 folder's name is "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition", you have to rename the folder to "Crysis 2".
2 Run the patch.
3 Rename the folder back to "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition"

I have the EADM version, and my Crysis 2 folder does have the TM symbol, "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition". The patch worked properly the first time without me having to edit it. Maybe some others are having issues, but just wanted to point this out.

No didint work my crysis folder name was ''Crysis? 2 Limited Edition'' Changed it to ''Crysis 2'' and also tried ''Crysis? 2'' not a chance :/

i have tested it work :O

You can see what version you have by right clicking the crysis.exe file and clicking the details tab.

EADM thinks the game isn't even installed after renaming the folder. Redownloaded the whole game yesterday and it only patched up to 1.1 EADM is a very buggy program anyway, as it doesn't use the options I always set in the program--EVER! We need to manually download the new patch (if it exists yet) so the simple, most straightforward solution is to give uy a download link. Thanks for reading.

GUYS , try to reinstall the game and let it install to werever it wants ,choose fast instalation , so it will suerly choose like C:/electronikarts/Crysis2 or something , i have other EA games that this worked with ,its just a tip - oh btw i havent tryied this for my self coz i got the steam version of C2 ..--- hope it helps , -- cheers
