Hi Tom,

I purchased Crysis 2 LE through Steam and i have noticed the game never updates. I know there's a patch already out (version 1.1). I even tried the manual update but it states it cannot find any Crysis 2 game installed. Please advise.

You don't have to do anything. Steam patches the game automatically once they have a new patch delivered from the developer. Manually patching isn't possible. The first patch was surely already integrated when you downloaded the game.

It's normal this: Crysis2.exe is 1.1.0.0, Crysis2Launcher.exe is 1.0.0.0. Is it correct?

This patch actually slowed my FPS from average 40fps to 12fps.

Unplayable now, on current config, and I do not see how I had everything maxxed out, and working great,
to this 15fps choppyness.

My current system is:

Phenom II x4 955 @ 4.2ghz
8GB OCZ DDR-3 Ram
(2x) Sapphire 2GB 6950 (shader unlock +o/c @910mhz) in Xfire
(2x) c300 ssd 64gb

I did not have a chance yet to see if the patch did this to others. I have the EADM version.
I have it installed on the SSD as well, and right before patching the game manually, I had great performance.
The only thing changed was applying this patch.

Is there any way it can be uninstalled without the re-installation of the game? I just beat it in Soldier difficulty this morning, and wanted to try Vertern. That is when I applied this patch. Then, I opened the game, changed difficulty, chose new campaign, and 15fps later... i get .. 15fps lol

I did name the game executable "Bioshock.exe" to get rid of the bright flashing I was getting (pre patched). I restored the name before applying the patch. I tried it, and still got the flashing and horrible frame rate. I renamed it Bioshock.exe like i did prior to the patch, and the flashing was gone, but the FPS was still at and under 15fps..
