Steam here too. Though I don't know where to check for the 1.1, I'm assuming it's still 1.0. Because, I though they'd disabled auto aim for the 360 pad in the patch. Yet if I look at the control pad option screen, aim assistance still looks to be there....

Top left corner in the multiplayer screen atleast. Says Crynet Systems 1.1.0.0 for me. Doesnt seem to show version number in the singleplayer part of the game.

OK im using Norton and i got the game from ed games Australia

Patch can't find installed game client.

I'm using win 7 64 bit with Norton AV. Game has been bought via Steam.

Renamed the folder. Simply removed the stupid 'registered' symbol and everything worked the way it should.

yeah ive reinstalled Crysis 2 and tried installing the patch and to no avail!! doesn't work try again Crytek...

it did not work, okay so i got this game via steam, and i went to where it was downloaded and i found it, your patch did not, please fix.

I have the same problem but for me for some reason MP doesn't find servers.

Took me 4 reinstalls and the manual patch to just realize it probably wasn't on my end that I couldn't get a multiplayer going in any of the ranked servers ) Hopefully this will get a fix asap, joining ranked servers to end up in a lobby with everybody waiting that starts is funny but errrr, might get old at some point xD

copied patch to bin32 folder ran fine and it works i now see servers for multi

If you were connected to the internet when you installed the game chances are your already patched to 1.1

I'm amusing this is where the version file is found

They're just trying to make it look like they have done something to fix the issues to calm down the public. Guess what, its not working. Every day we wait for this broken game to be fixed makes it worse. So i hold back the rage i feel for you guys right now and polity ask you to get a patch out for this game. The only reason i haven't returned the game is because i want to play the working version because I'm sure it will be great once its working.

They just **** everybody for PC for the most part.... They put out a beta that was ok and said they would fix things.... So everybody did a pre order and now they have your money and don't give a ****! A day or two I can see but they have made no attempt to fix steam and steam wont do anything so you might as well kiss the $60 goodbye and go play another game. Even if we get the game to load the MP if **** also... Steam said they do not fix or offer support for third party company's and as you can see crysis does not give a ****!

I bet money they will come delete this post because im talking **** about them but when you need help they wait 2 days and offer some BS download that does nothing! **** xbox and PS3! Nvidia paid you guys how much money and this is what you have to show? I would call my bank and have them do a refund on my $60 but I don't want my account **** up because I have real games on it that really work!

SERIOUSLY! Blizzard pushes releases many months SEVERAL times in order to fix things and what do they have to show for it? BILLIONS of dollars! People couldn't care less if a game is pushed back if it means a stable and fun game.

I hope who ever was in charge of the development and releasing of this game is fired! Keep everyone else thats doing their job as they're told to. Its the heads that need to get there sh** together.

THE PATCH WORKED

The patch said it does not work.
But it does!!!!

still does not remember cd key

I still got cd key in use.
I just tried to join another server and finaly got in!!!!

Today I download manual patch and Install. Patch can't find Crysis 2 folder. and I foud the solution.

1 If your Crysis 2 folder's name is "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition". you have to rename folder to "Crysis 2".
2 patch again. this time patch found Crysis folder and can update it.
3 Rename back to "Crysis? 2 Limited Edition"
4 Now you can play and found Serverlist in multiplayer.


So problem came from Crysis folder name. I think patch don't know chareacter "?".

1.copy folder crysis 2 to C:
2.rename folder "crysis 2" only
3.installation Crysis 2 Patch 1.1 [manual download]


Enjoy play game

My folder was already named this exactly. Moving it did not help. I still got the same "can not find/ reinstall" message.
