Im sorry, but as a Cry 1 veteran I feel that I should say Battlefield should not be compared to Crysis 2. Who cares about them competing against one another? Let Battlefield go play with other games like call of duty that take an IQ of 16 to be able to play.

I'll take Battlefield's Multiplayer of Crysis 2's any day of the week.

It's probably been said, but Crysis 2 for SP and BF3 for MP. Really looking forward to both, and the recent scans of BF3 are straight up beautiful.

The thing I don't like about BC2 is the huge amount of constant spam. It's more annoying than in MW2. Say, in MW2 there are 3 spammers with spam-power of 100 each, in BC2 there are 16 spammers with 50 spam-power each. You're killed by some distant recon guy 9000km away, or a random explosion.

So I want MW2... But with balance, no harriers, less 10-year-olds, tactics, no spam and nanosuits. Crysis 2.
It's like a cross of all the good points of every game ever.

It really pains to see that cryengine 3 will only be used for small MP maps, whereas it is capable of much more. Crytek UK are basically a console developers and hence have no experience in making epic PC multiplayer game. Since EA has a magnificent track record of not releasing paid DLC for pc (and I have no problem with that, cos I dont want to play for them), maybe this time they should release a pc only crysis war 2. CryEngine 3 is graphically intensive so maybe 9v9 on consoles cannot be done at 30 fps.(fun fact...COD plays at 60fps and with rediculus aim assist and random grenade kills its a console kid's dream game).

BF3 has 64 players on pc(I hope they have dynamic map scaling based on the number of players in the game), because they know where their loyal fanbase is. I saw so many youtube commentators playing crysis 2 demo and all I could feel them saying is "Why is this not COD clone"

Console kids just want to play halo and COD:generic warfare 23. PC is where crytek loyal fanbase is. 6v6 is too less. Maybe some bigger maps and 12v12 on pc is more like it without encroaching on EA's another multiplayer IP

battle filed is war game.And crysis 2 is fast paced game like quake 3,cod series,etc.You need high skill in war game like battlefield.You don't much need skill i crysis game.But you will have to improve your dancing skills in game to stay ahead.You will know what am I saying If you have played crysis wars.;P

Well BF3 MP will destroy C2 MP, but C2 SP will destroy BF3 SP

I'm buying both. They're different. Crysis 2 probably has less resources spent on MP than the behemoth of BF3, but what the hell...

The announcement of BF3 has really put me in a crysis (xD) between the two....

This is one of my top 3 buyers but bf3 is at the top cause i'm a fan boy. But i been one of thier fans for a long time way before crysis. But i'll buy crysis over cod serises anyday. I say BF3, Crysis2, and Homefront are my top buyers it might change to crysis2 you never know though cause the demo was SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!.

I also believe that Battlefield 3 will have better multiplayer however Crysis 2 will have better single-player... Though I do think that Battlefield 3 will have a much better story than BFBC2.

I would disagree a bit. Games like Battlefield tend to take more skill to kill AND more teamwork to win. Crysis does take skill to kill, more than Call of Duty, but less than Battlefield.

Man sorry for that post.But I am pretty much sure that people are going to dance while playing crysis2 multiplayer.May be I am wrong,If they have got my point.Did you notice while playing crysis wars that you have to kill people with speed mode by zig zaging left and right?But thats only in instant battle na!!!!

Well... Battlefield is known it's unbeliveable multiplayer, with large maps and intense war.
But it's your choice, if you want more fast paced action(running on a smaller map, killing people, getting achievements) kinda like CoD, but with nanosuit powers then you should go for Crysis.
But if you're looking for a large scale war game with vehicles and large maps and stuff like that then you should go for BF.
but if I had to pick 1 for the multiplayer, then it would be BF3 definately.
Although I'm getting both C2 and BF3 because both of these rock

Well I think you should go for battlefield 3 if you haven't played any battlefield game yet.Its superb.If you want to play war like situation ,go for battlefield.I have every battlefield game.And I am still hooked to them.I play battlefield bad company 2 for 4 to 5 hours.Its nail biting experience.By the way ,you can also use jet airplanes in battlefield 3 just like battlefield 2.If you want true multiplayer experience then battlefield in only made for that.Its only made for multiplayer.So wait for battlefield 3.
crysis has good multiplayer.But you will get same fast paced game play like you had with cod black ops.If you want single player game there is no game that stand against crysis2.
go for bf3.then save some money and get crysis2 someday.And by the way crysis 2 is going to be most costly game.so be warned.

Both games need skill. Crysis 2 needs brains to think which ability u want to use in every different encounter.Fast aiming ,fast reflex
Battlefiled needs more coordination and teamplay and for sure has more tactical camping.I ll buy both
