Put simply, my machine runs better FPS on the same settings in C2.

C2 doesn't have the same settings as C1 that is why. Textures are obviously less as the texture comparison states. Not to mention the couple of threads proving they used C1 textures just streached into C2. The highest graphical setting (even with the third party tool) is not anywhere near the Crysis/Warhead graphics.

its not only the graphics and the textures, "Crysis" 2 stinks of console limited gameplay. its so smelly.... IT SMELLS SMELLY!!!

A console port marketed as a PC game, that's what C2 is.

I am very disappointed with the game and the fact that the developers lied all the time. This game is just an ordinary port from x box360!?!
And then the hackers, cheaters and multiplayer... Horrible!
I bought all the previous games- crysis, crysis warhead, and this one too, but this is the last one. If ever crysis 3 go out, I certainly will not buy it. And I'm sure I'm not alone. They shall not dare to blame pirates for poor sales or something, because they have to blame themselves, nobody else!
Never again Crytek game.

Hmm that is nice. It is sad they chose not to acctualy use CryEngine 3 to a farther extent in Crysis 2. Unreal Engine does look nice.

CryEngine 3 is way superior to CryEngine 2 and capable of so much more then what was used in Crysis 2.

The suit is better, the gameplay is better. Gameplay is whats important for me, I dont care too much about graphics or story. So no I am not disappointed.

Biggest disapointment!! From a brilliant state of the art game to a brilliant c**k up!! What made the people at Crytek think this a good game!! Especially compared with the first one!!!!!!

I like it. I was looking for a game to run in my new computer and I searched one, then I found Crysis2. I haven't played it for a long time, but it seems a really good game.

Its embarrassing what crysis has become..........Isnt crytek ashamed of themselves?

Considering I've played more of Crysis/Warhead since Crysis 2's release than I have of Crysis 2...I'm gonna say yes.

basically the game is just a one giant xbox360 port....
and this should be a pc game to begin with...

It is a very enjoayable game, with stunning visuals. Not C1 but damn good either way. People should wake up and play the game for what it is, and not sit there complain about everything.

People need to realize COD has no gameplay. It is just a shooting gallery. Gameplay is Crysis 1. This game tries to add a little of that sandbox style, but there is not enough room to get creative so yeah a disappointment.

Well, CoD doesnt have a freekin nanosuit! Adds a whole new level of tactics and **** to do. But yeah, I much prefer the smaller maps without vehicles then Crysis 1s Power Struggle, that **** was boring (to me). I also prefer the more linear maps in SP instead of the big explorable environment. Im not interested in exploring, I want to blow some **** up! If this makes it more similar to CoD then so be it, as long as the game is good. Nothing wrong with CoD, its only the best selling game. So why not take some of the good features of a best selling game?

MP in C2 is very CoD rip off, but its also much better then C1. Progression, customizable classes with perks and stuff. I also much more prefer the way we choose classes instead of picking up or buying our weapons and then having to customize them after each death.

Crysis 1 was pretty much just a benchmark for me. I played through it once, same with warhead. After that I just used it to test my rig.

All the whining from everyone just seem to be about DX11 and bugs. Both of which will be fixed. Not alot of people complaining about the gameplay itself, because they cant get themselves to play the game because its DX9 (Oh the horror!). Bugs are understandable, but no need to over react, just give it some time. The last thing is story, and sure, this I can understand that throw people off and theres nothing more I can say about this. But luckily for me I dont give a **** about the story and I have the patience to wait for DX11 and bug fixes (I dont have problems with bugs because there are workarounds for most of them), so whats left is great gameplay, yay for me!
