Crysis coming out in october , should we buy it ?

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 11:37 pm

when i saw Crysis 2 i was excited but as i played the game online it was quite disappointing , it has a LOT of glitches , there has been one patch that has come out that i know of and it was suppose to fix them , for me the one problem i had was the tooled up trophy and the patch didn't fix it , i had to reboot my suit to get it and it did
unlock for me but others are still not able to unlock it and now the first Crysis game is coming out in october but they haven't been able to fix the existing glitches in Crysis 2 and new ones that keep coming up , so ... should we buy the updated version of Crysis ? i would like to but who's to say that this new version will not come with it's problems too , this is just me sharing my opinion and if you have an opinion about buying the game put it here

Put it on a disc and I'll buy it for sure.

Include Crysis Warhead and I'll pay double.

Download - not interested.

I say, no for this game, because of what they did with Crysis 2. Never patched up serious glitches and bugs, screwed up the netcode more than badly. The lack of players in Crysis 2 pretty much shows how they didn't even care of fixing the game.

If they don't announce the fix for the dedication trophy this shows they don't really put as much resources and time into their games and community post-launch. They were relatively good after the game was released (given the amount of bugs post-launch they had to be) but there are still tons of little issues they never bothered addressing.

If I don't get a response on the dedication trophy support by the end of this month I will be passing on Crysis 1 and recommending all my friends and people over @ PS3T to do the same.

I love Crysis 2 but the dev team should be more actively engaged with their fans if their games are going to have problems post-launch. Put their minds at ease by communicating even if you are unaware of a problem or how to fix it. I don't want to go through this same problem with Crysis 1.

Well there are rumors that only the single player will be going to the consoles. I dont know if this is true, but if it is then you should definately buy it. In Crysis 2 the majority of if not all of the bugs reside within the multiplayer aspect of the game. While there were little to no problems with the singleplayer. So if Crysis on consoles turns out to be a singleplayer only game then there is no reason not to buy this game when it comes out in october if you loved Crysis 2 singleplayer.

Nope. You know, the fool me twice thing, shame on me. Well, at least we know what Crytek was doing instead of finishing/patching Crysis 2.

If if want to play a 5 year old game with aliens that runs well on the PS3, I'll play Resistance - Fall of Man.

I believe Crytek has poisoned the well! Delivering on Crysis 2 and resolving the issues that should not have been there on Day 1 would have been fair for me but they failed.

So will I give Crytek another dollar - NO>. Fool me once you got me for 50 dollars. Fool me twice(DLCs) you got me for 14. Sorry not going to give you another 20. When you delivered a flawed product and then walked away.

So much for German Engineering - if your cars ran this good they would be called Yugos.
