who cares if it looks better on pc because all games look better on high specs rigs isnt the point of this re release to introduce the story of cyrsis1 to ps3 and xbox users who havent played it. dont know why y'all are arguing over this its kinda pointless.

Ha ha youre really that naive? The main reason is Crytek wants to make as much money as possible with their crysis franchise of course.
They dont give a smith about introducing storylines to anyone.
Almost no one who owns the original on the PC would buy the same game again just because its ported over to a new engine.
So the consolegamers are the only ones left to buy Crysis 1. Simple as that... and not because of Cryteks charity for consolegamers.

Still, this is not to overshadow the more poignant part of my original point that the C2 suit controls will also alter gameplay considerably.

This footage shows:

- While in cloak you do not sprint at speed mode speeds like C2
- When you have no energy you can still sprint at normal speed (unlike C2 where you walk)
- the speed of weapon changes looks great (unlike C2)
- @ 4.25 in the top video, strafe sprinting!!! oh yeah

Looks like Crytek did a much better job with the console controls/suit functions than i initial thought they would. Have to wait and see how the game plays, but it looks sooo much better than C2 control wise. WHy did they change it so much if they can do this on console!!!

Might be a buy for me after all, even tho BF3 beta will be on and released at same time as Rage.

WHat would make it a guaranteed purchase: include MP (for which i think these controls would work well, alot better than C2 anyway)

C2 was 3gbs with MP
so maybe around 2-4 gb

C1 Sp is longer than C2 and bigger
so yea that is my guess
