Crysis 2 was #13 on the XBOX live activity list for last week, behind games like Halo 3, CoD 4 and Gears 2.

because the online is a fecking mess, lack of support has killed the online sooner then it could have been sustained...not a surprise..and my copy is going bye bye tomorrow

It really is sad because this game has sooo much potential. I would hate to see it pull a Mirror's Edge.
That game was so amazing yet no one knew what it was so the game didn't make a huge impact.

Very good point. I'm really hoping the devs are just busy re-coding their game, so we can have an amazing patch.

i wasnt willing to wait that long, i already traded in my copy, im still lurking around here cuz im curious to see how crytek handles this situation, and i want to re buy crysis 2 on pc once it hits the bargain bin, has a DX11 patch and is stable

get a wired 360 controller for your pc, it works seamlessly with windows 7! I've had one for awhile now

Lol i have one.. just never thought about using it:p I might try this out soon haha. My head eyeballs might explode due to the intense graphics though.. Crysis 1 was still, and IS still such an amazing game when set to Ultra

Honestly, I was hoping for C2 to be as good as the final beta. I had a BLAST playing and it sold me on the game. Now, I'm just hoping they do something about the P2P connections.

I probably won't give up on it because I think it has cool dynamics and is fun, but it's got heavy competition coming out in the next few months and, as others have said, if Crytek doesn't address some of the issues killing the game they won't see me online.

Gamespot and major nelson track those numbers in very different ways. major nelson tracks it by using the ip address and a further identifier, which tracks all users on xbox. while gamespot uses raptr, which is a social networking service, that only tracks its own users and their gamertags. Plus just to point it out crysis 2 is not the "fourth" played game, its "seventh" according to raptr http://raptr.com/. Crysis 2 is the forth action game, and according to gamespot there is only about 25,000 players playing crysis on the xbox 360. Which to me seems kinda of low, to me at least :3.

thanks for the info! 25k is pretty low, mw2 is a year and a half old and whenever i log on, its pushing 200k

Exactly! I loved the final beta, and its really sad that the final product plays worse than the beta. I've not touched MP in two weeks, but at least this has given me time to finish the campaign (something I rarely do with a FPS). Once that is done, its likely gonna get sold if I don't see a big patch soon.
