Do you think that the Crysis 2 might have a campaign cooperative or a multiplayer offline?

Or like an invasion like 4 player co-op where you have to defend something.

It's been confirmed that Crysis 2 will not have Co-op, but CE3 will have the ability so modders can add it into the main game.

It would be sweet if crysis 2 allowed you to play the campaign with your friends, and also if it had some sort of alien invasion-type mode, anyone else have similar thoughts?

That's a bit un-easy to cope with :(.
Great for Modder's though :)

Cooperative play with a friend is vastly less precarious and unpredictable as compared to a random PUG online. I'd love a bit of cooperative play campaign with friends.

I think they might stick with just a solid single player experiance (or maybe they will do co-op) But I will be waiting with anticipation to see when this game comes out

I'm in full support of a co-op mode. However, I really hope they let me use the same game on 2 PC's through LAN at least.

By the way... will there be a lan modus? confirmed?
I hope they dont **** C2 up like Blizzard with Starcraft 2.

Anyway.. Co-Op...hmmh.. could be fun.
But due to the fact that this has become a console-games feature (splitscreen), i dont think it will look good enough in multiple windows. Even the Co-op in Modern Warfare 2 gave me a headache playing it on the ps3.
For Pcs.. Coop in Lan or internet games would be great,,, Splitscreen on Pcs is out of the question for me.

And then getting left to die, some bad memory that was. (Back in Ra3). Might be better for some if it was an option only. :)

Does anyone think co-op would be a nice addition to Crysis? I would sure love to have someone drive the truck while I blast away with the machine gun, or just to have someone backing me up if I get surrounded.

2 player co-op would be enough for me, although 4 would be even better, fill in the empty seats in that truck.

I've been wanting official co-op support from Crytek since Far Cry. Before, the jungle would present many awesome tactics. Heck, I can already think of some awesome tactics in New York. One player is in the streets battling up close while another player is on the roof of a building sniping. How about one person stands on a car while another kicks it? The car would land into a crowd of enemies and the player on top would be shooting at them in addition.

Co-Op is very nice in a FPS game.

I gonna take Gears of War as an exemple, the single-player is nice, but in the most high difficulties you gonna die a lot and your "CPU partner" is pretty dummy, so, with a human playing as your partner is much easier, you gonna finish the game is less than half of the time you going to take playing alone, and the double of fun :)

I really hope that Crysis 2 have an Co-Op mode. Play friendly with friends is pretty cool.

Although it would be nice, Crysis 2 is too powerful. There wouldnt be enough space for it to fit or it just wont look good.
