Guys, if you can't put your point across without abusing each other then the thread will be removed, simple as that.
Last warning guys. Any more name calling or attacking of one another and the thread goes.

The aim is to bring the community together, not separate it. The aim for you guys is to be mature and responsible enough to respect one another and discuss your interests in a civil fashion.

In my experience on other forums, that does not work well. Its not like the PC people couldn't go on the Console area and vice versa, it just makes things more organized and makes the community feel more at home instead of having constant platform battles. Its easier to give seperate forum sections, because in past experiences the only way to keep the platform war from happening was to split up the community.

Hehehehehehehe why are people going at each others as if in war? its a fact that the PC crysis will be the best and the console crysis2 are for those who don't have the money to build a comp strong enough to play it. i have a console and am happy that crysis@2 will be coming to the ps3 even if its not going to look as great as the one on pc it will still look good to me,i saw the multiplayer at gamescom and i was happy to see them playing the 360 one and now i have no worries :). so peopple buy the crysis 2 you want and just enjoy the joy that's is crysis2 :). i enjoyed crysis1 on a pc :)

Im sorry.
But if someone constantly refuses to accept his interlocutors arguments, its pretty normal that some people become angry.
No matter what the topic is.

Whilst that's a valid statement, it's not a valid justification. If you find yourself repeating the same thing over and over again trying to ram it through someone's skull then it's an indicator to just be the bigger man and let it go.

You do it to try and educate someone but that someone doesn't want to be educated so you're both yelling at brick walls. Nobody wants to read brick wall fights and nobody benefits all it does is result in petty name calling and accounts being banned. No one wins.

I'm not speaking to either side of the argument here so when i say "you", don't take it directly.

@Talon, i'm happy to raise the concerns to the appropriate people if there's enough support for it but i really thought you guys would be more eager to prove your maturity, whether it be to Crytek or to the opposition. If you want to do it, pop a thread up in Feedback and Support :)

I dont take it directly..
Cause I only wrote 3 replys to Mr.Sony...
Maybe i have repeated myself once in these 3.
But for the future i think its better for everyone, to ignore posts with topics like console performance in general.

these kind of threads shouldn't be allowed because of the problems they start between gamers.

Since I own every platform I'm not going to delve into what version is better as for the most part comes down to what you have and how much money you put in. So no one put any PC and console arguments.

Since Crysis 2 is coming to consoles there is going to be some console oriented development decisions. Since Crytek just loves the PC unlike other multiplatform devs they'll add proper PC support much like Id or Valve does for their mainly PC multiplatform games. Bearing that in mind the performance boost from developing for the console which has a relatively high standard (no whining consoles wouldn't have a following otherwise). Most gaming rigs by default overshoot a console so imagine the returns in performance for a "good enough" experience and then layer the mods, graphic settings, and etc on top of that. By definition crap should be the console settings (laugh).

For benchmarking and personal tweaking sake since the consoles naturally cap out at 30fps to avoid wasting power or overheating and to squeeze 100% out of system. For the PC could they add a fps processing cap? For example set the fps to 30 with a degree of the system idle as a buffer to kick in for those "excessive" moments for consistency? As well as options for soft vsync (every other frame) or dynamic vsync (turns on or off depending on engine stress). Maybe just saying for this last part.

@ Bajeezus...

No one owns a 8 core.

There are some 6 cores avialable but theyre expensive as hell.

The first 8 cores will be Intels Sandybridge.

And to calm you down buddy...your quadcore has not even yet shown its true power. Because most games only use 2.

Okay i have to coreect myself.

The Intel Xeon X7560 is an 8 Core.

But i doubt they are "good" for multimedia and gaming.

They sound more for professional use.
