Dude....I don't even REMEMBER Crysis 1 looking THAT good. Actually **** it, I just played it. It does NOT look that good lol, especially the Crysis 1 pick with the water ripple. Water ripples DO NOT exist in Crysis 1. Those were probably promo pics, kinda like the promo pics for Crysis 2 which look **** awesome.

All pics are promo pics, both from Crysis 1 and Crysis 2. Crysis 1 Pics are with Enhanced graphic mods. Still its from 2007 and looks better than Crysis 2.

I just bought warhead the other day because I recently got a new PC and wanted to finally play maxed out and at 1980x1020 on enthusiast, the game looks nothing like any of the screens these trolls are posting. I'm not gonna say it looks bad, because that would hurt my credibility in my opinion, but it doesn't look as good as these people remember. And the gameplay is kinda boring. Hide in the bushes, kill some Koreans and blow up a com station. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

People don't seem to get that a modded game is not the same as the original. It doesn't matter, because if they are saying Crysis 2 looks bad they are obviously biased.

No water ripple effect?
Fact is: the textures in vanilla Crysis are better than Crysis 2.
The lightning in Crysis 1 is MUCH better ( I mean, just the sunshine, etc. )
The water in Crysis 2 is UGLY AS HELL!

crysis 1 has a bit more "realistic" graphics than crysis 2 which looks abit cartoony if you ask me.

as for mp gameplay, crysis 2 is geared towards the younger cod twitch type fps fan. in crysis 2, if your slow, you're dead. not so in crysis 1. in fact crysis 1 is more tactical than 2 as you are forced to use more options. In crysis 1, if you want to be a twitchy reaction player fine. if you want to be slow poke and tactical, setting traps and patiently waiting is also fine. cant do that in crysis 2 because of the map size and game speed. better or worse gameplay? better for the twitchy shooter fan.
