Crysis 2 + Dx11 =??? What should we be expecting in terms of comparison? Fps from Dx9 to Dx11?

the patch comes out imminent, like 10 hrs or less, just be patient and wait for people to say, no point in talking about it now

I would think with improved technology crysis 2 may not be as devastating in terms of fps... but could be wrong =/

lol and you still try, well because of better optimisation, and the fact that its using dx11, YES it will be less demanding i would say then its predeccessor, my mate in the UK who is a game beta tester etc also beleives this too, and he's usually right

The mentality in this community is that Crytek are damned if they do and damned if they don't. I personally don't see an issue if I get smooth FPS and the game looks great, though I imagine some people will find room to whine because the can't justify buying their $5,000 rig.
