Why is there always a dicrimination against release day for PS3? Why is the make pack avaiable on XBOX but not on PS3?

Is there a commercial explanation or is it just money on the back hand coming from Microsoft as I am sure that is how Microsft always do business.

This is why people pay 30-50 a year for Xbox Live, so they can afford those timed exclusives. For a game release it's understandable, but for DLC is garbage.

I'm gonna pour more salt in the wound by saying only a handful of people currently play the new DLC as it is. I've added tons of people who willingly quit playing the game because they can't afford the $10. But whatever, life rolls on and the friends list gets shorter.

I bought the first DLC and am sad about the fact that nobody plays it, the match making takes ages if it at all get in a match. If someone is willing to play that, count me in.
The Decimation one I will not buy, as most probably no one will be playing it...at least on the PS3

It's true man, not enough people play the DLC. I bought it though, so i'm in if you (or anyone else who plays) want(s) to start a squad some night.

More people would have bought the DLC if Crytek had ironed out all the bugs in the main game before releasing it.

As it is, little has been fixed, Crytek aren't communicating, and the Crysis 2 community is shrinking fast. Many have already given up on it and moved onto other games. There are a ridiculous number of second hand copies in a local shop!

I bought this game for both PS3 and Xbox 360 (and wish I hadn't), and like many others I refuse to buy the DLC for either until the problems with this game have been fixed.

Guys I agree with your comments and the fact remains that it is sad that Crytek does not put the same amount of effort in producing the fixes or the map packas at the same time.

I have both platforms, XBOX & PS3 I do tend to favour my PS3 over the XBOX and saying that I have Crysis 2 on both platforms also unfortunately as I have 2 kids that also play the game I purchased the map pack on PS3 so that my sons can downloaded at no further cost, where as with the XBOX I would need to buy it twice to have it installed on my XBOX and their.

So here is why I preffer PS3 as it's not a ripp off like the XBOX, but the fact remains that I am always waiting for PS3 stuff to catchup with the xbox...

exactly! i for one would definitely got all DLC for this game had the game been at an acceptable standard for the most part. it's playable at the moment but i can't justify spending more money on it right now

New map pack is now out, and guess what it's way to expensive, I don't want to pay for another ￡8 pounds for a map that i may not be able to play because no one else does.

I also bought all 3 killzone 3 map packs at the same cost as one for crysis and guess what even if i don't play that much it's only about ￡3 pounds per map pack.

Suggestion make it cheaper and you get allot more sells and you make allot more money.
