The official minimum specs for C2 say 8800 GT. It'll run...but not at max. But that doesn't really matter cause xbox version is medium-low. :D

It'll still look good.

Well it depends, But tbh you should upgrade ur graphic card, I mean a good graphic card for example XFX HD 5770/5870. 120$ maybe, (depends on site) Ull be able to probably play it on medium/high :)

yeah i thought about 5770/GTX460, if the gtx460 will max it out i'm going with it, but if it's not i'll buy the 5770...
i just want a mainstream dx11 card, what do you say?

I would get the GtX 460 just because Nvidia cards has the new built in PhysX and tessalation (better graphics). And you should check out my youtube channel for a giveaway of 2 XFX HD 5770 with a crossfire cable ;) (then ud max it :)

but i think there's a problem, i have C2D E7200 2.53GHz OCed to 3.5GHz - you think a gtx 460 will be a bottleneck?

I'd wait to get new cards until nvidia and ati's new series are out later this month. Then the older cards will drop. The specs aren't that much better on the new cards.

Nah ur Cpu is fine for gaming, As long as you dont Fraps(record) or anything of the sort. Should work fine ;)
And at Ahrek. The ati/nvidia Series is only coming in 512 Mb verions until June of 2011 because of problems with the new Sandy bridge chipset. Which mean only low end cards, but cheap tho.(but svck aswell)

Yeah a GTX 295 Would max it with "decent" (25-30) fps. But unsure because its such a old card. But it used to be a Beast so np i think :)

Umm, i don't think so.

AMD and nvidia have already got all their high end cards out anyway for this generation, with the exception of the dual gpu's from both companies. Sandy bridge has nothing to do with anything from AMD and nvidia o.O

Yes it does.... Sandy bridge has integrated Graphics, And the problem with the graphic cards was that the sandy bridge couldnt tolerate more than 712 mg of video memory. (dont know why, Just have seen a bunch of interviews because im a reviewer myself.) and at the interviews I saw alot of developers said that only thing that nvidia and AMD was going to release was 512 mg low end cards because of that issue and they allready have 2 "new" high end graphic cards out allready. And dont think Nvidia and AMD want thoose graphic cards to sink in price so early just to release a new high end GPU faster. In short IT matters

I was invited to participate in the closed Crysis 2 Multiplayer beta for 360. I was too late in discovering the invite though x(
This makes up for it! I can't wait. I'm gonna put the graphics on max. I currently just have a gtx 280, but I should be getting a 460 soon :D
