Nice, good stuff. But me being a tutor for students, I saw the release date of the demo. Some of the kids might get angry lol, because SATs are just around the corner, I think March 14 or 15 or something like that, maybe earlier. For those who aren't taking the test (assuming ya live in da US lol), then enjoy the demo. I'll be busy prepping students for a crazy test :) I'll squeeze in time to play tho.....

Awesome news!

What did it mean when it says "Gamers who pre-order Crysis 2 today will receive an automatic upgrade to the Crysis 2 Limited Edition"? Here in the UK, I've only only ever seen the Limited (or Nano) Editions for sale... there's no "normal version" to buy.

PS. Your registration form doesn't work on Google Chrome.

Last year there was 3 editions to order. They decided to only have the Limited and Nano Edition. The older edition, if ordered, would be auto upgraded to the Limited Edition.

the normal version was even more expansive than the limited one on amazon...

Was hoping for singleplayer since I could easier tell if my rig is good enough for it :-/

Online lag will make it hard to tell

There is a distinct difference between Online and FPS lag.

Online lag has maybe poor hit detection, jumping backwards in position, static in position. While FPS lag may include choppiness or your screen randomly freezing in position, usually followed by intense stuttering.

I bought retail copy for both Collector Edition of Crysis and Warhead, and bought another Crysis and Warhead on steam to support their game. (I did the same thing with many other games to support, such as Dragon Age and Mass Effect..etc all Collector Edition on retail copy)

If they really remove 32 player map like Power Struggle from Crysis Wars, I ain't paying a single penny for this game and cancel my pre-order now.

Remove **** tons of gameplay such as leaning left and right, laying on the ground, no more massive world explore. Pretty much no connection beside Prophet to first Game...etc

The Game feels very consolize at this point. Not going to say its horrible but it does disappoint me in many way.

PS: Before someone call me **** "http://steamcommunity.com/id/shansoft/games?tab=all" I am willing to take picture if people ask for it :)

I knew they were going to release it in March, the PC community just hyped themselves up and made themselves believe it'd be released sooner :P I think they released the xbox360 demo to see if it works first of all, and iron out the bugs. They're just releasing this PC demo for fun and advertisemant, I doubt they'll use it as a beta for fixing bugs.

Will there be a benchmark program like there was in the first crysis demo? Singleplayer graphics are more intense than multiplayer making a multiplayer demo an unreliable benchmark tool.

So is there any word about the demo playercount being changed back to 8on8?

I find 6on6 to be highly boring and I fear the demo won't keep me interested for very long if the maps are practically empty.
