Yes i'm a terrible player so I don't record but I did get a triple kill streak of stealth assassinations and instantly went damn I really should have recorded that.

This is just one of the most important reasons to get this feature. People who want awesome frags, with no fps loss and still feel safe by knowing that they have the kills saved by the demo recorder

Also you can make cooler montages by seeing your kills from different POVs! Yay, cool edits!

Unreal Torunament always had sick demo recorders - a match was like <1mb or sth haha.

L4D2 had the best demo recorder. Open console type "record filename" and then bam. Open that file and you could follow anyone from 1st or 3rd person fly around the entire map skip back and forward slow down time, speed it up, everything.

Crytek, Crysis 3 can really be huge, so much larger than Call of Duty just do it right, listen to the community and fix things as fast as you possibly can. Please do it right this time! You can do it!

C2 bugs disappointed me so I doubt I will play C3, but if there was less bugs and this demo recorder, then I would consider getting it.

Demo Recorder and a Spectating Camera... definitely YES!

Are there examples of this feature in other games?

Counter Strike and Call of Duty are the well known examples of this important feature.
Warcraft 3 and Doom are also examples. Albeit that last one is probably more like UT.

And the so called "Spectator cam" is an absolute necessity.
Because that way, busting non-blatant aimbotters will be much, much easier.

I love the lvl 50 guys in Crysis 2. When someone is accusing you of cheating, and you killed him just 1 time. And he is spamming in the chat: ''Cheater, Aimbot, Wallhack.''

It's so nice to troll them.
