Can anyone confirm or deny that the demo still works? I wanted to Crysis 2 and I downloaded the demo. There is only one server up and even when people fill it, the game wont start. I can't even use the chat to talk to people. It is full of 12 people, but all we do is sit in the lobby. I'd really like to test the game before trying it, so if anyone could provide me with feedback, it would be helpful.

I wouldnt buy itright now. Wait till it gets a couple patches first. I kinda wish i didnt spend my money on it at this point.

On the other hand when it is working fine i really enjoy it. Though I havent started the campaign yet because im waiting for hte DX 11 patch.

Lots of annoying issues in MP like stats and unlocks not saving , weapons seem unbalanced, seems like spray and pray gameplay is rewarded over burst firing. Too much to list.

Thanks for the feedback. I am just frustrated that they have a demo that doesnt work. So, I am not impressed. I almost bought it but will definitely hold off.

And to answer his question:
Given that the demo was multiplayer-only, I would assume that it doesn't officially work anymore.

Thank you Thorbear. I don't know why they would make it avaialble and it not work. Wasted time downloading and installing. Oh well! Thank you aain for the help. Hopefully all the other 11 guys in their will figure this out and uninstall it!

Maybe this forum or something of this nature could be a sticky somewhere so that people know that the demo no longer works.

They did at some point announce a pair of dates, within which the demo would work.
The posts and such related to the subject seems gone though.
