Due to lack of "like" or "thumbs up" here I will put it this way:

Cry-Tom likes this.

Whoops!

I'm not too fussed about that stuff tbh, i was running my hard drives over a 6gbps sata connection anyway, and i'll take my chances on a 5% chance of the 3gbps sata ports forcing me to run my DVD drive on the 6gbps ports too :D

But ya, the motherboard died an unrelated (and seemingly very rare, based on what i've heard) death thanks to crysis 2 :P

Stop scaring my hardware dammit!

Same here, running my eSATA on 6Gbps, although getting my overclock was a bit of a challenge because I had to lower the voltages on my RAM as well....

Sandy Bridges are funny little setups. I'm glad to hear your motherboard will be replaced. I'm most likely going to get a new one as well when the RMA has started. Hopefully in time for Crysis 2.

Indeed, I wasn't going to replace my CPU anyways! It hit 5GHz without breaking a sweat at 1.35V :D

lol this thread made my day xD. The pure awesomeness of the graphics and gameplay from the videos killed your computer HAHAHA!!! If there was a "thumbs" up or "Like" I would press that button.

Sandy bridge is indeed awesome, especially when overclocked to 5GHz :D

Also, the problem is that the motherboard completely died Niwas :)
