im having a very annoying issue with crysis 2. everytime i start crysis 2 from steam, i have to restart steam to get it to start, and its very annoying that i have to re log in every time i want to play crysis 2. i have tried defragmenting crysis 2 but still didnt work. im pretty sure i have my computor up to date.
so if any1 can help me fix the problem, THANK you

Sounds like an odd problem.

Have you tried right clicking the game in the steam window, going to properties, local files (it's a tab at the top) and then verifying the integrity of the cache?

It could be that you've just got bad files for one reason or another. That'd hopefully fix it.

Edit: I should also ask, what actually happens when you try to launch the game without restarting steam?

well, i run from steam, and i can start it fine. do you open the steam browser, or click the steam icon for crysis 2?

Yeah, this happen with me too.

It happen cause the EADM Crysis 2 location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crysis? 2 Limited Edition

The ? somehow messes with steam. I tried to remove it and it worked, but it messed up with regular shortucts.

What did I do? I use the Advanced Graphics Options as the .exe. Launching the game from it, Steam works.
