maybe crytek truly cares more for the PC. Maybe they truly have looked at PC first, console second. The paid DLC is not on them and i don't blame them for shifting to console focus. But crysis 2 has been slowly dying, yet im starting to see it come back

I've been a long time Crytek fan and you haven't let me down yet. First time I've looked forward to a Monday in a long time!

I will like to know if patch 1.9 gonna fix "another" things, or only these things from the list.
It's this list the official last list of fixes?

Finally Crysis 2 is will be the PC game I was hoping for.. Can't wait...

Does anyone know if Crytek/EA will re-release the game with all these patches and DX11 for retail again? If it comes with new content/SP DLC/MP DLC -- I will buy me a second copy.. And If they cound stick the sound track on it ;)

my graphic card can support up to DX10, should I download the DX11 patch? Would the DX11 help to improve the game's graphic?

Yes, it will, but you won't experience the full power of DX11...

Well, sort of... Now we have to get ready for the bunch of people complaining how bad this game works after the patch and that it ran a lot faster before blah blah trolling trolling...

If you download that dx11 and texture pack, they aren't that big.
1.7gb+546mb for the dx11 patch, sooo no big deal..

Where's the sandbox editor?

Edit: Maybe it's already released? I haven't read on the forums for a long time.

Hi guys,

can someone tell what the minimum systemreq will be if i want to add the upcoming texture pack? My specs are:
- q6600 @2,4 GH
- GTX 8800
- 4 GB RAM
- Win 7 64 bit

Will I be able to play the game with decent framerates in the lowest graphic settings and can still enjoy the better textures? Now I have a framerate around 40-45 fps.
Thx for the answers!

dragon age 2 HRT did not require 64 bit so I don't think Crysis 2 HRT will need 64bit. Lots of VRAM but not 64bit. Plus Crysis 2 is a console port, crytek is only developing DX 11 because of the next xbox. Crytek is svcking on some M$ nutsack.
Crytek being lazy aside I still have not played Crysis 2 because of DX 11.
Will be playing Dirt 3(DX11) till the patch is available.

Well you got a quad core but it ain't running too fast, i'd have it @ 2,8, the graphics card i'd take a gtx 560, and your ram is probably ddr2, i'd have at least ddr3 1600 so you'll need to upgrade your mobo also which would mean a new CPU, i'd go for a 1156 mobo with a i5 750 /760.
You could get a 1155 mobo and a 2600k CPU, but personally i don't like the Sandy Bridge, OCing solely with the multiplier is stale.

I don't understand what's going on. If I have Crysis 2 I will have to download DX11 + High Res textures after i will get the 1.9 patch or I will have to download only the patch?

Download the dx11 & the texture pack here>
https://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=32234

When the 1.9 patch arrives it'll install automatically when you start C2.

the dx11 & texture pack won't install unless you have 1.9 patch installed first.
