To the original poster of this.. I've got an "easy fast fix" for that issue.. it's so simple, you'll want to slap yourself silly for not thinking of it before you posted this..

First, remove the piece of crap ATi card from your PC, ram it up your rectum (repeatedly if neccessary), go to BestBuy, buy a Geforce!

Oh yeah.. make sure you leave the ATi card in it's current location for alteast a week, this will work all the bugs out, then remove it, shutdown your PC, take out the Geforce and reinstall the ATi 6950, now.. your ATi card may run real "crappy", but your lighting issue should be fixed!

I'd also suggest a good ointment for your rectum, but it's obvious by the subject line of this post, that you have massive two way traffic down there, so it should'nt be a problem for you!
