Crysis 2 DX11 patch was a FAIL

Game is still broken, won't load a freaking game.

Three months already since broken patch launched - almost!

No word from Crytek.

I installed the DX11 & 1.9 patch and have yet to experience any problems loading or graphically. I run my rig on ultra settings and it runs smoothly.

I am running a 2500k @ 4.8ghz, with 2- 560ti oc's in SLI and don't have any issues.

What Nvidia driver set are you running? I have tried a few of them and some work better than others on Crysis 2. Currently i'm running 270.51. They have a new one out, but have not tried it yet. 266.58 also runs very well.

Loading issue, don't really have a freakin' clue.... I wish I could help you out on that one.

And you say that here! OMG! Go to the PC discussion, none will help you here...

If you meant to quote me, don't worry, this is the right forum. The issue is not unknown to Crytek, and I am not the only one experiencing this or plenty of others like freezing, stuttering, poor performance after patch, and many more.

The goal of this thread is being acknowledged, to make some noise and make Crytek see that a lot of people have paid for something it is NOT working. The way I see it, it is the last and only possible path to a solution we have left. Many have complaint about this in the PC forum, and 3 months later is still unresolved, and I can't play a game I've paid for.

"OMG! Three months later and still there's people with serious issues regarding this game!", should have been the right thing to be surprised for.

Sad thing, it isn't any more.

if you get crashing, freezing from dx11 put your video card at nvidia stock card core clock and memory. I got a msi 570 oc. lower your your core clock , rise up core voltage or both. see how that helps.

if you get other problems keep dx11 off

What about a beautiful "denuncia" to EA? a massive one of course, between every one who have this issue.

@aw3s0m0

That is plain BS, my friend. I you took the huge effort in actually reading what you're about to answer, I changed the graphic card to a GTX560ti, and same issue. Stuttering gone, which I believe it was provoked to favour one graphic card maker, but the loading a save game issue remains.

I can't really imagine one single reason for a save game not to load due to not enough graphic power. Really.

If you take your time and read the rest of the post and do have a clue of what's going on, please, by all means, enlighten us.

And FYI, gameplay in DX11 with a e8400 and 4gig of DDR2 is SMOOTH. No mater what the chart says. In fact is so smooth I cant really stop to sleep, or going to the toilet or working, otherwise gotta start from the begginning because the problem is SAVEGAMES WON'T LOAD.

Still.

Same here. I Have a CFX6870 and Phenom 2 1090. I Have 8GB DDR3 Kingston 1600mhz. Why my FPS drop to 20 in DX11 MODE? I have 2 DX11 VGAs and Catalyst driver have CFX compatibility with the game. Why?
