Crysis Ending

Post » Tue Nov 29, 2011 5:10 am

It'll be funny when the Halo 2-esque cliffhanger pisses everyone on console off as much as it did on PC. Console gamers aren't unfamiliar with this sort of ****.

So how about you take some time to make a Warhead-type expansion thing, multiplatform I don't care, with the proper ending for Crysis 1 that you'd honestly have expected Crysis 2 to be.

I'm still waiting to find out how Nomad and Prophet beats the aliens at Lingshan.

Exactly, we still don't even know how the hell Prophet survived to make it back to NYC.

That writer has a lot to answer for..

I heard they're writing a comic book that will fill in the gaps.

Yeah, I too would prefer an actual game... Of course, since CryTek loathes its "dirty pirating" PC community now, it would probably be console only.

I dont think Crytek will stick to that story from the comics.. so that it will be non canon.
Maybe this missing link will never ever be mentioned in a game.. ( yet there is only one more to come as we are speaking of a trilogy).
I really really hope The glorious trio ( Nomad, Psycho and Helena) will not die. Id like to see one of them as protagonists in Crysis 3 or better having "jumping" protagonists (like the COD games where you switch charackters each mission). Wouldnt that be an awesome idea? From an aggressive gameplaystyle with psycho... to maybe a more stealthy style with Nomad... and then to a very fragile and weak charackter like Helena. You will have to rethink each time you play with another charackter, considering their advantages and weaknesses in each situation of the game. That would offer great gameplayoptions for the player and a new way to connect all the storypieces and wrap them around a new way to tell the whole plot. Better than keeping half dead Cyberzombie Prophet as protagonist.

I just had a thought... Maybe Prophet dreamed the whole thing.
