Crysis 2 TV Episodes

There was a huge wait for the second episode of Crysis 2 TV Episode 2 . And at that time there was absolutely nothing new on this website. Now, ofcourse, there are awesome mp videos. But seriously, is it going to be nothing for a long time after this ? I know you guys at Crytek are really busy and hell I appreciate that . But would it really be a problem if smaller videos and sets of screenshots were uploaded more frequently ? Like you know, maybe a small vid on a new gameplay mechanic or something ? just a small recording ? And thats sure to keep fans interested. I'm not complaining, and I obviously don't know what would be asking to much or not, but I'm just sayin...

Personally, i'd rather wait longer and get more.

Take into consideration the extra time it takes to; compile ideas for showcase, organise times to film, take the shots, edit and compile the footage, compress and upload the footage.

All of these tasks are compounded by frequency. The "administration" side of things takes a significant amount of time as well as the product itself. The more time you spend on administration, the less time you have to spend on the product.

It's similar to patches. If you release 10 patches that cover 20 things, then you've had to go through 10 QA sessions, 10 compiling, 10 media, etc. You're better off to spend longer on it and do 2 patches that covers 10 things each and have 1/5th the administration time.

Basically, it ain't worth making monthly episodes if there's no real new information to talk or showcase.

It's more better if they take their time, and gather new game mechanics, level design work etc. With more stuff, means more information, and a worthier episode(s) unlike episode 2.

+1

Let Crytek take their time to put out quality information. :)
