I have spent so much $$ and time building a powerhouse PC to play this game. I figured: "Since Crysis was so demanding, I better be prepaired this time." So I spent money and time to put in liquid cooling, 3-Way Sli, overclocking my core i7@4.2Ghz, GT memory, the works. But the closer the game came to release, the more disapointed I became. As rumors of DirectX 9 only support, flew about the web. I was in denial. I thought, no way could CRYTEK do this to PC gamers. Not after we supported them for so long. Bragging to our friends how the PC was so far ahead of consoles, using Crysis as the proof. Spending $$
thousands$$ on our computers just to get more frames per second out of the game. I thought Crysis 2 would be the next benchmark for PCs, using all the current technology that it could.
Then the game was released, and my fears were confirmed. I felt so let down, dissapointed, and upset. After all the time I spent waiting. After the delays. After all the money I spent. After all the hype. Crytek gives PC gamers a
CONSOLE PORT! It was the biggest slap in the face I've goten from any game developer. Crytek has sold-out! I could have saved all the money I spent and just bought it for my brother's XBox360. A sad time for PC gamers. Crytek has pushed PC gaming one step closer to DEATH...
