I have spent so much $$ and time building a powerhouse PC to play this game. I figured: "Since Crysis was so demanding, I better be prepaired this time." So I spent money and time to put in liquid cooling, 3-Way Sli, overclocking my core i7@4.2Ghz, GT memory, the works. But the closer the game came to release, the more disapointed I became. As rumors of DirectX 9 only support, flew about the web. I was in denial. I thought, no way could CRYTEK do this to PC gamers. Not after we supported them for so long. Bragging to our friends how the PC was so far ahead of consoles, using Crysis as the proof. Spending $$thousands$$ on our computers just to get more frames per second out of the game. I thought Crysis 2 would be the next benchmark for PCs, using all the current technology that it could.
Then the game was released, and my fears were confirmed. I felt so let down, dissapointed, and upset. After all the time I spent waiting. After the delays. After all the money I spent. After all the hype. Crytek gives PC gamers a CONSOLE PORT! It was the biggest slap in the face I've goten from any game developer. Crytek has sold-out! I could have saved all the money I spent and just bought it for my brother's XBox360. A sad time for PC gamers. Crytek has pushed PC gaming one step closer to DEATH...

Finally it seems it's working! Try to do this: log into gamesas.com and leave the internet browser ON and LOGGED IN when you're playing. When you start the game write all your datas and then your serial code (for it try to follow their workaround or anyway write it every time). I got connected doing this!
My errors were:
1- The game couldn't remember my serial code.
2- I couldn't log in for connection problems, but my connection IS right.

Being unable to log into multi-player mode is unacceptable. That is one of the biggest reasons Crysis WAS successful on the PC. History shows us what happens when a software developer refuses, or is unable to support their customers. It goes without saying that Crytek and/or EA is going to suffer much the longer this drags on. Unhappy customers are more likely to complain to their friends than happy ones. They will add to their frustration with whatever complaint they wish and the developer will pay the price. Do the right thing. Fix this problem quickly, and do something to show your customers you are sorry and that you respect their patronage. Give them something better and bigger to talk about as it relates to Crysis 2 rather than this huge disappointment of a PC launch.

Yes my card is a full support of directx 11, I bought this computer 1 months ago and I have a HD6950... and it's not possible that this crysis 2 is equal or inferior of first crysis... The crytek promise that the game was with the better graphics ever made on a pc.. but is true only for the **** consolle.. and there is still a large number of bug.

WTF!!! We wont a response for the unleash of the directx 11, NOW!!! your goal is just to make money, don't you?? >_> My opinion is to make a petition to crytek, because you kidding all of us!

What features of DX11 do you feel are specifically vital for this game? Do you even know what the difference between DX11 and DX9 is or are you just throwing it around because you know that one number is higher than the other? Do you even know if your card supports DX11 in a meaningful capacity?

I see now forum moderators erased a post of mine, where i posted some links to multiplayer hacking, and i asked why this game has no anti-cheat protection ? I see now we can;t speak freely, we are censored. Oh well, maybe these days I'll perform an official complain, and get back the money i wasted on this garbage.

oh, BTW i have a fully DX 11 graphic card...maybe to play with it the best game of the year: Battlefield 3 ?....i wanted to play with it Crysis 2...but wait...it;s a concole port, and consoles does not support DX 11, they are antique, obsolete.

We have simply lost their money.

I just got a tweet from 'Crysis' that was removed within a minute for some reason so I can't post exactly what it said, but here is the link:
http://www.ea.com/crysis-2/blog/pc-patch-coming-soon

It's nothing groundbreaking but at least it's something; no fixes for the major issues we all have though. Why can't more companies be like Valve.

Edit: It looks like they have already taken that down too 'Shakes head'. Sorry guys.
The updates included little things like fixes for text and voice chat and a toggle for crouch; none of the big stuff. It did state that it would go live in the next few hours automatically when loading the game.
After taking all the posts away I don't know what they are playing at though.

GOD damn! its not Crytek who doesn't listen to you! It is YOU who doesn't listen to Crytek, DAMN they already answered to our questchens about bugs and cheaters...
For example:
http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=16516

And for absolute idiots:

Announcements
29/3 - We've been working hard to resolve as many of the post-launch issues as possible including some improvements to our game security. These updates will be made available via automatic-download later this week.

30/3 - We wanted to let all of our fans and players know that we take cheating very seriously here at Crytek. We are currently taking steps to permanently remove cheats from Crysis 2 and those individuals that choose to utilize them. We thank you for your patience and want to ensure you that we will continue to work hard to keep the integrity of Crysis 2 intact and cheat-free.
