Oh before the idiot fanboys come on and say 'what will dx11 bring anyways derp', it will bring a promise made real, I couldnt give a toss what it does fact is it was promised.
So what you're saying is that you're impatient for a patch for an already awesome game from a developer that is clearly under the hammer LESS THAN A WEEK from release, on principle???

Guys, tomorrow after the solution by Andrew D for the flickring in Crossfire I have enjoyed a lot the SP, but when I go to MP, still svcks because we have a lot of servers with lag, cheaters and the impossibility to create a match, we need to rent a high end server to host a map..

:S

it's really annoying...

+1

Crytek, nothing but love. But please be reasonable and understand that these nerds (myself included) are hanging out for you guys to once again prove yourselves the best of the best in innovative games design. They all seem to forget what a week is in the scheme of things, a sure sign of the great expectations people have for this already stellar title. I look at these forums and see what this game has caused. Hysteria. MASS hysteria and impatience. What does that says guys? It screams of a community all saying "We know what this game is, what it can be and what WE KNOW it must become, and we ask: When?" They know this game is destined for greatness, and like a meth junkie waiting for his next hit, they roll on the floor in agony, moaning and biching for information and details of the next big high.

We need your precious meth, Crytek. Please don't be long. <3

HELLO CRYTEK, HELLO EA

ANYBODY OUT THERE??? HELLO??? CUSTOMERS WITH QUESTIONS OVER HERE!!! SOME HELP PLS!!!!
Tommorrow it will be friday!! This means that I will have the game for 1 week and 1 day. I will bring the game back to the store tommorow (if no decent patch has been released), because after 8 days of waiting, I still can not enjoy this game. You all know that the MP part is 1 big mess and why in the hell should i start playing this game in a directx version that was released 4 years ago. I didnt upgrade my rig for patience guys, come on!
Lucky me, the game store is willing to give me back my money, because I'm a good customer.

I guess I will just buy portal2 and download this game, because this is one big joke.

And the people out who keep saying that we all should be patient and wait a bitt more, are seriously crazy. It's their job to make computergames, not stell beta copies of their latest cryEngine. When you buy a car, you expect to have 4 wheels from the start, and not drive around on 3 wheels hoping that the manufacturer will hand over the fourth asap. You gotta be kidding. A few errors or bugs is always present in the first versions, but this is ridiculous

Your comparison of the games industry vs. the motor vehicle industry amuses me. Its like comparing buying a flight on a plane vs. buying a taco.

Edit: Man these forums are ripe for a good ol' trolling XD

Just to make point smart ass, you know exactly what I mean dont ya?

Got another for you, which ofcourese you'll find amusing 2:

Lets say I just bought a fullhd tv. When I come home and turn it on it's only HDready. After a quick phone call with the manufaturer, they promised me that they well send me and other people with the same problem an update as soon as they can. After this update, my TV will finally be FULLhd.

I'm failing to see a problem here, you'll have fullHD soon, so why bich about it. Life ain't easy, deal with it.

Sorry Jimeth but either you are a zen master or a tool... I will not say to which solution I tend.

If that guy buys a Full HD TV but only gets HD ready and some excuses I call it fraud- maybe small scaled fraud but fraud.

Sad to see that crytek goes funcom. I am really willing to say great things about crytek and to support their decission making but they give me nothing but generic statements to work with so I can't.

Despite some lame textures, silly AI and tuned down console physics the game looks still great and is still a title that propably would not necessarily need directX11. But if you tell people it will be in, tell people that you'll give statements soon, tell that their will be a patch and blablabla customers tend to get feel fooled and since it has become sixy to become "against" things in the internet you will have to pay a price for such bad customer relationships.

Have a look at funcom. I know 3 people - me not included- who will never ever buy one of their games ever again because of they way they fooled us as customers.
And if Crytek continues their information policy and does not fix multiplayer asap, well, I don't think I will continue to buy their products.
If some Crytek Mod would say:" Ok, here is the thing. We had a lot of pressure and a release date set in stone by EA. We screwed up for pc...big time. We think we can fix multiplayer until XXXX and will have direct X 11 implemented until. We apologize for fooling our customers and working off our asses to make that right again. So we add some more destructibles and effects for pc, like in old videos of the game and will pimp it for the pc community to show them that we do not see them as cashcows." I would say "Water under the bridge but next time be honest right from the start."

Nano Catalyst Resetting
Some users are having issues with their collected Nano catalysts going missing when they close Crysis 2. There is currently no work around for this issue but we are aware of it, and it is being investigated.

I noticed you said that the Nano Catalyst issue happened when people closed Crysis 2. This is not what happened in my case. It happened to me just going between levels. When the next level loaded I had zero Nano Catalyst and was no longer able to acquire any more. Anyway, just figured I would clarify so you guys know it doesn't only happen after you close the game.

Thanks for all your hard work and keeping us informed Cry-Tom/Cry-Adam, it's much appreciated.

I noticed that this issue is not on the list....anyone else having this issue?

In MP, stat tracking is not working right at all. For example, SCAR kills are not being tracked properly. Another example is that I have at least 25 kills with Armor and that challenge still, and persistently, says zero. All of those challenge achievements, ones for weapons and having certain perks enabled, aren't working right. Is CryTek aware of this?

the most heartache part was when you managed to promote to another level, you experienced a connection lost, and your stat has to go back to the stage when you first started playing the game on that day :(
