a project manager is still able to say if yes or not a product is ready, I'm not saying who has to be blamed (except the quality engineer who obviously didn't do his work), I'm just saying that someone really fooled the customers. May this information be passed to whom deserve it
Most games I have purchased in the last several years have had the same kind of problems. Most of have been fixed in patches that came fairly quickly after release. I think this is something we are just going to have to get used to...
Getting used to it or not it's completely a bunch of **** rubbish that games come out essentially 'broken' in some (or many) ways.
Companies relying on the ability to 'patch' games has brought new lows to the game development community. Instead of actually having to do their job properly, they have become complacent.
I don't care if companies continue to churn out **** buggy crap... but if they do, then they better god damn be ready to cop the community outcry and backlash.
To me, looking at the patch update that 'Cry-Adam' put up, it seems that they're a little frustrated with such an out pouring of threads and repetition of threads and PM's in their forum account. In my opinion, they have to accept that because the game was not released in a finished state. So, if you're not going to do something right, then cop the consequences.

This is **** ludicrous rubbish ****. To comment saying that they haven't commented? What flagrant disregard for fans. Either say "it's not coming" or say "it's coming within xx time frame" if it's coming. I don't care if they say that it'll come within 5 years I just want to know if it is or isn't coming. But to say that they aren't commenting on that is just **** **** it doesn't mean no, it doesn't mean yes. It's ****. They are allowing fools to play into their hands.
If they say 'No it's not coming' if it is indeed not coming they will potentially lose sales. But by not saying anything they are still keeping hope alive, perhaps tricking people into buying it who want to play with DX11 but wouldn't buy if they said 'no its not coming'. It's **** and I hate it when companies treat their fans like this.
Re: not commenting about the flickering / multi-GPU issue at all...
This pisses me off just as much if not more than above. To me, this is one of the major issues with the game. It's the issue that affected me, and it certainly affected my enjoyment of the game. I have finished the game and THOROUGHLY enjoyed the experience, it looked great, but I didn't get to play it in all it's full glory. I want to play the game again but on my 27" monitor which I will need my second GPU to do, so if I knew they were going to fix the problem (or potentially ad DX11 support) I would know that I could wait to play it again and wait with the knowledge that my next experience would be a better and more complete one. But instead I'm left hanging. Sometimes, there is nothing worse than being left hanging.
VERY POOR FORM CRYTEK. You're one of my favourite developers and I honestly believe that you have some of the most talented people in the industry working for you. I had a **** great time playing your game, but in future I'm probably not going to buy something on Day 1 because of the way that the issues have been ignored and 'no commented'.
