well anyone say class action!!!!!!!!

AS FOR CRYTEK ARE HARD WORKING FAMILY PEOPLE ETC TRUE BUT IF YOU SOLD A HALF FINISHED PRODUCT YOU SHOULD EXPECT THIS. I HAVENT SEEN TOO MANY TOTAL FAILS (AND IM 38) BUT THIS IS ONE FOR SURE

rants are funny but wont get anything done

classaction will as ea dosent want that sort of action happening

so (and i know there is someone monitoring this thread) get off your collective arses and release a media statement along the lines of

dear crysis fans

it seems we have many issues including but not limited to

1 multiplayer issues
servers not reporting players as in server
servers not responding when player numbers should start a match
servers issuing serial in use warnings
redemption codes not working
filters not working properly
performance drops on (fps) on various maps (extreme slide show)
= waste of money

2 general performance issues

1 a direct x 9.1 game 4years outdated but still dosent run well
2 no directx 11 as promised
3 flicker issues
4 anti virus issues
5 port forwarding issues
6 firewall issues

single player issues
1 cant be bothered

WE ARE SOOOOO SORRY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING THAT YOU WOULD RECEIVE A WORKING PRODUCT. WE WILL OFFER REFUNDS TO ALL AFFECTED INVESTORS (THATS US BY THE WAY). MAYBE IF YOU BUY THE CAME IN A WEEK OR TWO IT MIGHT WORK BY THEN. REGARDS CRYTEK/EA

wow so i payed $70 us + 10gb download ($10) aus

so 80 us for some one to sit in a office and say "o look we dont even have to release a working game to make money WICKED" LETS DO IT AGAIN HELL YEAH

AS PER RETAIL RIGHTS IN THIS COUNTRY I PAY FOR A ITEM, IF SAID ITEM DOES NOT WORK OR DOES WHAT IT STATES IT CAN I AM BY LAW INTITLED TO A REFUND!!!!!!!!!! BUT I ALSO WANT THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF COST INVOLVED RETURNED

ANYONE ELSE KEEN ?

AMEN BROTHA!

This is not crap, this is reality, he never said the graphic will be better, and he was realistic, more game sold, more budget we can put in.

Crytek make a lot of money with console remember, Farcry (not the same as pc) was on xbox 360 and xbox 1 and sold very good, they use this money to make crysis

You can't make full scale game using your own graphic engine with no money and guarantees that your game will sell a LOT, going only for a limited scale (big gaming machine, no console etc)

I am trying to lauch my business, and I know what reality is, you can't go see a banker and tell him, well I need a lot of money, but I wont probably make any money...You cant do that, life is to cruel for that.

This is sad, but they had to make choice,

Sure, they still could talk more about game problem, and calm people, but I am not German, I don't know how their communication work.

directx 11 would be awesome n all but in my case , I just want what I paid for. Which I still have yet to get.
Yea sure my transaction went through on the website for my pre-purchase dlc. But does it relay that to my account in the game...NOPE.
Yea I opened my firewall just for you guys cause there is no direct port number...good feeling behind that.
Tried the ol CAPS vs noncaps...newp..still in use. I'm guessing when I finally do get the product I paid for it wont matter cause I am frankly already tired of this game. This doesnt mean I don't want MY part of the deal. you got your money, I want my product...get your s*** together

This is exactly the same thing i have .... crytek get your f*cking fact's straight !!!

i want an answer and i want my camo for my scar !!! reply!

I'll be working on getting my money back starting on Monday if this isn't worked out by then. Already decided that I will not be pre-purchasing another crytek game ever again, if I even bother buying them in the first place, which is sad due to the enjoyment I got from FarCry, and Crysis 1. Moving forward on graphics, moving backwards on doing things right.
Well put. I'm personally going to file a ticket with Steam for a refund, because I purchased the game thinking I was getting a specific thing - a game that pushes the PC hardware I've assembled to its limit without reaching its own, meaning the game actually gets measurably better over the next couple years as I slowly continue upgrading components, as opposed to becoming more and more obsolete from the day of launch on. When Crysis 1 came out, that is what I got. Starting with a Pentium D and a Geforce 6800, I could only really play in DX9 mode with everything on medium, and even that only gave me a barely playable 20 or so fps. Turning up various settings to very high showed me a tantalizing 0.01 fps slideshow of how awesome games were going to look in the future. When I made some small upgrades to that PC (a dell) over course of a year or so, each one improved my experience of the game. When I built my first computer the jump to Crossfired 4850s and a Core 2 Quad meant I could finally experience the game in all its glory. That is a product that increases in its value to the purchaser over time, and that makes it very unique, especially in the world of software.

That's what I assumed I was getting when I regrettably purchased Crysis 2. I don't really expect to get a refund from Steam, because in the end it was a case of buyer beware. So I probably don't have any real argument that will stand up to scrutiny, much less any legal recourse (not when it comes to this reason, anyway; I do think there could be a potential for class action over the falsely advertised DX11 features and/or the gamebreaking problems, if left unaddressed).
What I DO expect, however, is that I won't be buying any more Crytek products if things stay as they are now. My beef isn't the problems with the game as much as with Crytek's response to them, or lack thereof. I feel like the community relations people here and on Steam have been hung out to dry along with the customers by the developers and publishers. Not only has Crytek been entirely silent about the problems, they clearly were willing to spend every penny of goodwill the gaming community had given them due to their previous work, promising "big news" to come in the face of concerns that were raised, secretly removing advertised features that were driving presales, even as they were promising otherwise. And then... Once all the preorders were locked in, they just move on altogether. The CR people are stuck trying to figure out what's going on too, and have to do what they can to troubleshoot and find bug fixes themselves.

Perhaps go to your file directory of where you installed it and find the executable? Unless you got it from steam, can't help you there.

Wow. Amazing.
All you people look like are a bunch of primitive monkeys. No wonder Crytek doesn't give two **** about the PC community. All you do is bich bich and bich like the stupid children you are.
How about you worry about important things, like idk.. gameplay? So far it's much better than Crysis 1 and warhead.
DX11 can wait and the only issue I'm waiting to be fixed is the log in. I can't use gamesas account to log into the multiplayer. Lame.
Oh and good luck replying to this with your witty little worthless comments, I won't be here to see them.

I've been getting the same error even since the demo which hasn't been addressed. When I leave a lobby (usually because the match won't start) and open the server browser up again, it says "invalid parameter". This has probably already been mentioned, but I thought I would throw it out there.

And the next thing that everyone is biching about: This game runs phenomenal in dx9. I couldn't be more pleased on that end of the spectrum. That's where a lot of game makers fail and you have done a wonderful job.
But, you could have at least let people know that the game wasn't going to ship with dx11. I'd rather it be done right, but at least Infinity Ward had the decency to let people know what they were about to do to them before they stuck it in and broke it off with IW Net.

Heh... I'm doing my best in providing problems/solutions to Crytek and members. The "primitive monkeys" you are labelling, are likely enthusiasts or customers who want what they paid for.

That I know for sure is a big lie.

Did you guys notice that the original post does not even mention one of the biggest problems? I CANT LOG INTO THE MP IN THE GAME WITH MY gamesas.COM log in info- Why do you think they didnt bother mentioning that? these bastards- i swear, they take our money, and they could care less- I wonder why they didnt mention the MAIN problem- pitiful.

It's a bit disappointing that the barrier to entry (not being able to login to multiplayer to begin with) is not even considered an issue by Crytek.

Yeah, and it makes me wonder how expeditiously the intend to fix it- What is the recourse, i mean seriously, for these companies? They receive payment in full for NOTHING---- One of these days, someone in a lot of power is going to find a way to make money off of situations like this, and they are going to... I mean, just have some SELF INTEGRITY- If i told someone, if you buy this, what I’m selling you will do that- and if it didn’t work, it would bug the heck out of me, I’d feel like a scam artist- in other words i would want to make it right.

I just don't see that attitude here at all, and i think it’s pretty deplorable.

Any idea when we can expect a fix for the disappearing nano catalyst bug that occurs when you fully exit Crysis 2 and resume the campaign?

I hope it's soon, because it's holding me back from continuing the game. And you guys haven't even acknowledged it yet. :(
Are we talking hours here? Days? Weeks? Months?

I am one the people that purchased Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars (actually own 2 copies of Crysis). Anyways, Crysis set the bar high and allowed for tweaking of the settings and what not. Now where are they??? I know EA is probably swamped, but within a week I expect to see an answer as this is more than reasonable to ask as a paying customer. Also, what about DX11????????

Sincerely,

A loyal customer..... so far.
