A problem I have is that my gun fire is silent without a silencer(i got ps3 version) sometimes. I don't know if other people can detect my gunfire that has no silencer attachment but if they cant it needs fixing.

Geesh, product is out nearly 2.5 weeks, two "patches" (a Tabu word in engineering),
and still so many complaints seem to go unrequited.

I'm a Senior software engineer with 30 years experience. I've tried every means available (web forms, e-mail, telephone) to contact both companies with consolidated bug reports (issue, severity, repeatability, status). No one seems to care, and the web forms ALL throw a fatal exception on submit (to be read: "ate my hard work").

Hmmmm... Well maybe if we start using BIG WORDS they will take notice?

So... let's try this...
1. Distributed process latency causes wrong player to die.
2. Undercoupled network processes cause dropped connections.
3. Distributed process deadlocks crash Windows network connectivity.
4. Open source in a secured application, violates information hiding and makes that application insecure.
5. Client interpolation of world metrics further decreases application security.

NO? It'll just get buried amongst 41235 other posts?
OK, I guess we'll need to settle for, "written by gamers, for gamers then."
and "trolled between gamers, by ______ whiners" (insert your own explicative here.)

Well, in 1.2.0.0, it seems that they did take care of a few zillion freeloaders
(is "zillion" a word... yet?).

I wonder what they will do for/to those of who pre-paid for everything the hype advertised.
Certainly, we didn't expect to PAY for the privilege of tearing our hair out?
Well, there are relatively easy solutions to re-numerate the breach (the now useless "Limited Edition" baubles), and if you can believe it, even reclaim the loyalist base!
-- unfortunately, it means COMMUNICATING between customer and supplier (*cough*).

There are only a dozen, or so, accessible servers with "<150 ping" that have players anymore, and they are largely "Instant Action", and "Solo" or "Pro" games. BTW my -real- ping to these locations is under 30mSec.
In North America? One today.

The server filters stick -wow!
If you don't get thrown from a server, the accomplishments seem to stick (didn't really pay much attention).

Everything else seems nominal, and the existing players are maturing (way too fast).

Next week they'll be dealing (or not) with complaints that there is not enough granularity in player achievement.
-I was just up against the nuke gun (JAW?),
level 27+ players (way too well equipped for me to last more than 20Sec),
and snap-to-target-after-target-after-target Aimbots.
Yep, there's a solution (are effective solutions) for that too.

I have solid directions for Crytek to pursue (as do many of us from many perspectives),
but unless a solid and organized communication system is in-place (to be read "up-to-date WEBSITE"),
fixes and updates will probably aggravate Crytek's loyal customers into a self-consuming mob.
(Oh, I forgot, that's what's happening right here, in this forum!)

So, has anyone taken notice that once fired upon, you cannot fire back?
Yes, I checked my mouse's responsiveness. It's fine. Holding the button down simply does nothing,
and there are not little furry rodents bare-backing it whist I sleep.

Well I forgot the rest of the bugs that I experienced today.
Anyway, BC2's stupid AI's still run in the wrong direction, block my line of fire, or leave me to fight by myself.
I can't speak for CoD. (are you taking notes?)
I waited to pre-order the Nanosuit, So I could start the learning curve with everyone else.
I wish I were learning to play a game, at the same time as others,
rather than reading the thousands of posts and learning to work around the bugs.
(Oh, that's what the moderators are supposed to do: read the posts, build bug lists, notify engineering, and keep the dissatisfied customer base up-to-date, daily, regarding progress? No? Sorry, I forgot. I guess that I was taught incorrectly.)

There now, "we" got another rant, and more information for the "devs".

Well, at least I can log in and try to play.
If you read the thousands of posts, you may find a solution that works, and meet with some success too.

No, I'm not going to play the SP version just to watch "Cell Operators" run in circles whilst I entice them to rifle-butt one another, and then watch them run into something and knock themselves out. There are plenty of excellent utube vids around already. The bugs will, hopefully, disappear.

Cevat must be throwing things by now.
I wonder how he'll handle next week?
("Grab your gun and let in the cat, they're bringing the rain")

Good luck.
Good Hunting.
freundliche Grussen.

don't flame me. I'm just venting like the rest of us ;)
I approve greatly of this post :)

This is and stays as my favourite game since Crysis 2. I must admit that there are some issues that will surely be fixed, But what irritates me the most is the mis that loops every time i enter the customize class option

You're so smart?? I have a great Inet, ping is never higher than 7, and here the loss of connection ... do not think it strange??Not one game I do not have such problems....And you want to say that I have a 'Net clogged ..
And I wonder how it can be such that only in one crysis I have such nonsense?? You're so smart so will explain me that ...

I just finished playing the game, started a new mission to get one of the unlocks I missed and the game crashed. When I logged back in, it apparently forgot all my data including saves and unlocks. I also had to check the user agreement again when logging in. Does anyone else know of such an issue or a way of fixing it?

all i see when i am on the site is My email address fore a user name.. Witch dos not work to log in to the game.
And i can not make a new account using another email address i have. it said that the email address is already used.

Wow the login thing is STILL broken? I was getting the login error for the beta, did NOT expect it to still be happening for release, let alone after a patch.
Any ETA on a fix for this? The ONLY reason I got crysis 2 is for the MP, not interested in single play at all.
I paid good money for a limited edition version of this game, I'd like to get my moneys worth =/

Well, this is rather unfortunate news.

Thanks to this update (on my birthday none the less) I have just lost ALL my Campaign progress.

ALL OF IT.

Saves? Gone.

Completed levels? Gone.

Unlocks? Gone.

Everything is lost. I was HALF WAY through the game on Posthuman, and now I have to start from the VERY BEGINNING.

Sigh. My stress right now is REALLY high.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to deal with it. Start over I suppose.

Just finished unlocking every nanosuit upgrade (which took FOREVER because of Crytek's incompetence in releasing the title; literally waited for the game to actually register nanocatalyst to begin marathon sessions so to invest)

and..

Everything gone. Unlocks. Videos. Dog-tags. Weapons. Progress. Had progressed beyond one third of post-human, & now it's not even an option.

I own every Crytek product released to date on PC. Defended them. Forgiven the disgraceful omissions of advanced options, et al.

But they've ruined the experience for me. Wasted hours of time. Sloppy programming, no regard for the customer. Incorporating "fixes" so haphazardly thrown together that is breaks other features & provides no recourse for restoration.

The game is quite good, in fact. It's not the capability of story-driven, graphically sophisticated gaming Crytek's capable of hereto being disputed. It's the respect this company has for those who have invested, during an ever swelling economic depression, in the product that is broken from end to end as the "fixes" destroy every second of time invested so far. And this is the third time I've lost everything; I have no confidence in playing this game as I'm certain Crytek's laziness will ruin progress yet again.

Cry-Tom, Cry-Adam: this is not explicitly your fault. It's unfair that so much heat is pressed upon them. But I hope they are funelling these complaints to the higher ups, as thousands of overwhelmingly supportive Crytek fans have become haters of the company. Disgraceful..as they ruin their reputation. The latest Unreal Tournament demo with DX11 effects shames Cryengine 3, too, as does the latest DICE revision. At least we have elsewhere to look for innovation, as that ship has long sailed from the disreputable clowns of Crytek.

Ah yeah, that gives me fond memories of the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, where every new patch invalidated your savegames. :)

Moving on now,

as I wrote waaayyy too much posts ago (this place has been busy this week; phew) the new patch didn't fix anything for me. Turned out all I had to do was to delete my (SP-)profile and set up a new one and... TADA: it works. Maybe you two want to try just that, seeing that you have nothing to lose.

On the unlock module glitch I figure it has something to do with uploading the data back into our pc (sorry, noob here and subpar on computer/server knowledge so correct me if Im wrong). When I went into an unranked match for the first time and upgrade via there, the unlock bug is still there. However.....after finishing one match and quickly went back to the customizing menu without leaving the next match, the token counter went back to its intended lvl. After that I finished my second match, leave the session making sure the profile save screen is running, the unlock now stick. Seem the achievement do get recorded (somewhere) but there's a bug in "syching" it back to our pc. You need to get through 2 matches, hopefully not get disconnected in the middle in order to get it to stick. Hope crytek can fix this soon cause it's a pain to recheck the achievement every time.
