why is there so little amounts of guns in the multiplayer if there is a download for new ones will they be free?

Anyone know if there is a fix for the sempher fi mission end... audio simply loops "MOVE UP GO!!" and at missions end... invisible marines and aliens fire at each other... mission cannot be completed and I cannot go further in the game! Tried jumping up destroyed freeway behind downed chopper to trigger next mission...but invisible wall prevents that too... anyone????

I have all together stopped playing this game. It is a shame because it *could have* been an amazing game.

With the amount of bugs in multiplayer, its a joke to try to even play. I cannot believe a company would let such crap go on.
You obliviously have a huge amount of people with a problem(s) and I have yet to see a good patch to come through to fix the issues that are addressed in this topic.

Since when did it become acceptable to release a game with so many bugs and just "patch it up" later?

Well, I guess (what with 209 pages, and counting) the players have voted on MP... I see lots of servers, no players other than (it seems) in Germany. That's a crying shame (pun intended) as it sure looks like it might be fun to play this online... just not in it's current form.

This fix might work for some as it worked for me. I also have the insane flickering on my 5870's. Go into options when you are inside the game. Change the brightness to the highest setting then change it back to the correct setting, then hit apply. For some reason the flickering stops and I am able to play. But I have to do this every time after I log into the game. Hopes this helps.

Just played some of the best games in multiplayer, going 20 kills and 2 deaths in one match. I leave and look at my module progress, and I see that ALL OF THEM ****ING RESET. They are all now at 0/150 or 0/200. I don't understand why this game needs to copy COD so much, because all COD ever did was forget your stats randomly for no ****ing reason. I thought maybe playing a few games after would fix it, but no, now I'm at 20/200 on these things.

If you're going to make a multiplayer that tracks stats, MAKE IT ****ING REMEMBER. Worst multiplayer experience I've ever had.

The multiplayer is unplayable for me because of disconnections.
The game I've brought back to the dealer and get my money back. I recommend it to anyone who has a problem, do the same. Let's not kidding you.

Does anybody have a clean install with default options that can connect to MP and say does it kicks?

I dont know why but when I see in my log "nub_destroyed" I think it's related to the situation in which the server recongnizes my configuration as a cheater. Maybe theyre checking people fov and when it's higher than original 55 then kick... ?

edit: dunno why the console players dont have such problems... but first thing I thought - f*** they dont have a keybard and are playing on default settings available through game menu... Am I wrong?

Real situation is worse than it... Crytek made mistake in all platform.

They did nothing for PC. They lost reputation & sales in PC gaming, yes. But they made mistake in console, too... They used buggy playable demo, buggy MP demo, and Crysis2 still have many bugs. Epic fail.

Crytek don't know even how to get money.

They became stupid. Unbelievable stupid.
Crytek/EA did stupid promotion many times, and sell unfinished game.

You know, I have to say, I love this game. I really do. The campaign is amazing. One of the best I've ever played and the MP is so much fun when it works. But I also have to say, I agree with everything you're saying here. It should be better!! The online is a mess most of the time with lag and disconnects. There's nothing worse in my opinion, and sadly nothing more common these days than lousy customer service AFTER THE SALE! We're seeing it here too.

Crytek had a great reputation after Far Cry and the PC Crysis games. After playing the Crysis 2 campaign - despite a few minor glitches - I thought they were the greatest dev out there. But now they're starting to look like just more of the same, with what seems like total disregard for their customers who shelled out a lot of money for their product and just want it to work like it should.

IF they are working on some fixes for all these issues, they should let us know that. I think people realize that it can take some time to work this stuff out. Just don't go silent on us.

I'm sorry to say this gents, but there are two rules of the internets that i see frequently used by crytek in these forums...
rule 11: All your carefully picked arguments can be easily ignored... and
rule 15: The harder you try, the harder you will fail. We get a patch here and then... but i really am not happy with them as they are only slightly repairing minor issues that we can live with (sort of) not the things that make the game unbearable to play... i just want my stats to track and not reset... i can live without dx11 cause i play for the game, not how pretty it can look... if i get dx11 then yay but i dont need it... what i need is to be able to enjoy the game itself, not all the shinies that can come later. The only game that is giving me more grief than crysis 2 is homefront... and for that i blame the POS that is steam...
Its all well and good to post on the forums about problems, but to prove that you arent happy with the game... stop playing it! Get the hell off of multiplayer and let crytek watch their server numbers drop as crysis 2 becomes a distant memory... like apartheid

As my post said, they've become so commercialised.
I know a console gamer, who I got to buy Crysis [1] on PC... and even THEY agree with us lot about how angry we are. Even he prefers the bigger sandbox, the original that was actually a challenge and the stunning graphics - WITH LITTLE BUGS!

The good thing with Crysis 2 was the soundtrack.

First off let me say when I FIRST got this game here in the UK I truly thought it was going to be good and like alot of people out there i was massively dissapointed with all thr frustrating bugs and it has taken me 2 weeks of constant tweaks googling downloads and updates and reboots and who the hell knows what else. I have had all of it! I have the amd 6990 and suffered thre multi gpu flickering at first - horrified that there wre no in game advanced options, slow extreme enthusiast settings under 11.4 amd preview drivers slow mouse buggy gameplay in MP and SP. YOU NAME IT I HAVE HAD IT. Now i CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE UTTERLY CRAP AT PC KNOWLEDGE BUT THERE IS NO WAY I GONNA FALL TO THE CONSOLE CROWD SO I svckED IT UP AND STARTED TO APPLY THE FIXES AS THEY CAME THROUGH. firstly applied cap3 multi gpu driver app from amd , 2ndly REINSTALLED THE GAME TO LET Ea download manager auto patch the game to 1.2. Reinstalled my drivers 11.4 and cap3 for the 4th time. 3rdly downloaded wadsies Crysis 2 Advanced Graphics Options v 1.5 but was dissapointed at the shortcomings of that as there was no multi gpu app. 4THLY HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED AND APPLIED 1.7 AND LATEST VERSION OF Crysis 2 advanced graphics utility 1.7 version and maxed my CCC CONTROL CENTRE GRAPHICS OPTION AS WELL AS SETTING EVERYTHIMG TO EXTREME IN THE ADVANCED C2 UTILTY AND HEEEEEEEEY EEEEEEEUUUUUUREEEEKA PRESTO!!!! LAUNCHED THE GAME AND MY JAW DROPPED AT THE SMOOTHNES OF THE GAMEPLAY WITH BOTH GPUS RUNNING AND FULL4GB ENABLED . MY MONITOR IS THE HUMBLE BUT EXCEPTIONAL HP 2159 FULL HD MONITOR MAX RES IS 1920 X 1080 SO NOT EVEN MAXING OUT THIS CARDS FULL POTENTIAL AS FAR AS RES IS CONCERNED BUT ONCE YOU ARE THERE MAN AND HAVE APPLIED EVERYTHING THIS IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD AND WHT A PLEASURE IT IS TO PLAY AT HESE DIZZY HEIGHTS.
